I agree that there is an over-reliance on flukey improv. The offense asks too much of Romo. So much so that Romo can't play within himself; he's forced to play on the outside edge of ability. Resulting in too many high risk plays that eventually result in turnovers. Most of Romo's turnovers...

I'm much less concerned about Dez's hands (even with the uncharacteristic drops) than I am about his head. Honestly, Romo shouldn't trust Dez. Dez makes mental mistakes. And that's a major problem.

I'd put Dez on all punt returns and maybe kickoff returns too. He is much more reliable as a returner than as a receiver. Too bad, but true.

Vickers has been disappointing, no doubt. I think Dez should get a lower grade than "C-." The blown assignment cost a touchdown and there were several drops. A "D" or "D-" is more than charitable.
