Watkins: Cowboys' 'redshirt' players out to prove worth

Just wait until mid season when he's paving the way for some rushing TDs, leading the team in tackles after Lee gets hurt and you decide to order a McSurdy jersey If you are too proud to tell me about it, that's cool. I'll know

Watkins: Cowboys' 'redshirt' players out to prove worth

Between you, cmd and TE....seriously though his only hope is specials/goal line FB. I don't think he has the speed to be a MLB in this scheme I thought Wilbur was a wasted pick last year. I just don't see the pass rush production. I think Leary is hype only or he'd of played last year/not...

Watkins: Cowboys' 'redshirt' players out to prove worth

When was the last time a guy was a Pro Bowler on both offense and defense? Gonna be quite an accomplishment for McSurdy. Old school like Chuck Bednarik

Lions sign former Bears DL Israel Idonije

I think they've legitimately convinced themselves that the only thing holding back the defense was injuries and scheme. Dallas swings too far in extremes. From refusing to play rookies/young guys to only playing them and being concerned about progress stoppers. Teams that win always find...

2013 Cowboys draft picks - anyone you want to see?

I'd take a Kevin Faulk in 5. Better than a Josh Thomas or Buehler Unfortunately Dallas probably thinks of him as a healthy DeMarco

2013 Cowboys draft picks - anyone you want to see?

When was the last time Dallas ever came out ahead in a trade? They cling to people until they have no value

Parcells, Kraft regret their bad break-up

Yeah, probably. The thing about Kraft is he learned how to be a good owner, to be hands off and let the football people run the team. Jerry still hasn't learned that

Still....,10-6 with Quincy. You deserve some sort of award for playing winning football with that clown

If the Parcell 10 Commandments had been followed....

I think he only really had 1 year that you could even argue that the pieces were in place (2006). I agree he didn't win enough but I hate to think what the team would have looked like without him Team also went into a drafting hole once he left. Never built on what he started 10-6 with Quincy...

If the Parcell 10 Commandments had been followed....

Different situations. Parcells got to the playoffs with Quincy and Hambrick. He should have coach of the year for that Took a cellar dwelling team and built a playoff team out of them. Garrett started with pieces in place....including a franchise QB and HoF caliber pass rusher and TE and...

McMahon: Truth is Jason Garrett made himself look silly

Oh I care. Garrett is average, at best, as an OC. He doesn't seem to have much feel for it. Too many times the team dug themselves in a hole to start games. Let Garrett focus on being a team manager and take play calling off his plate. It should help

If the Parcell 10 Commandments had been followed....

Romo does need someone more like Parcells in his corner now though. Garrett and Jones just heap praise on him. He needs someone to keep him in check. Let him work his magic periodically, but surround him with a tough running game so he doesn't think it is all on his shoulders to go win.
