I give Parcells credit for finding Austin. I remember reading an article waaay back when we first got him and Parcells said that we might have something with him. He was right. Owens was a great player before JG got here as was Witten, regardless of stats... No reaching, Dbair.

He did a great job against that NE offense. Especially considering some of the players we have on defense. IMO, Rob Ryan is more of an asset to this team than anyone else not named Demarcus Ware.

Owens, Witten, and Austin were good before Garrett got here. I can't give him any credit for those three. Having said that, I don't think Garrett is as bad as some are making him out to be right now. Just like I thought he wasn't nearly as good as some made him out to be in the beginning of...

I agree. The price is a little much for him at this point in his career but the Raiders feel they're in win now mode... Might as well get a QB that can take you there. I think both sides win in this deal... and obviously so does Palmer.
