    2019 Draft thread

That would be a killer DL with our edge rushers and that water buffalo pushing up the middle. Problem is we don't have a 1st round pick in order to trade up to the 1st round. Even though Dexter is projected as late first round, it will still be hard to get there.

    The 2019 Cowboys Off-Season Thread

It's not going to cost them more contract wise if they wait for the off season because he is already at Mack asking price. So why give up a high pick for him now? This is why the Patriots move their players the year prior to something like this happening. The alternate scenario would be a...

I was thinking the same. The dude is a load. And we'd use up much less draft capital to trade up for him. Well, not that much less.

He wants a 6 year 140 million dollar contract with 85 Mil Guaranteed. That's 23.3 a year. We're also not getting shit for him in a trade let alone a 1st and a 3rd. We'd be lucky to get a 4th and that's wishful thinking. He has priced himself at Mack level, so all teams have to do is wait it...

    The 2019 Cowboys Off-Season Thread

Oh, we're screwed this offseason. Tank is eating up a ton of cap space and he isn't showing up until week 11 if at all. Then as usual Dallas will do next to nothing during FA and use that available money to give their average QB a huge extension. To make matters worse, Dallas is competing...

    The 2019 Cowboys Off-Season Thread

I don't have high expectations for Witten, but I think his YAC is down primarily due to that T or Y route he runs all the time. Of course he's not going to get YAC when he's used as a safety valve. But from around the 20 yard line he seems to do pretty well on that post route. For whatever...

    San Antonio Commanders

Yeah only 5 players can rush. And only 5 players are allowed within 2 yards of the offensive line. No one else can blitz outside those two yards so you can't really disguise what you're doing. I also read on a different site that overtime can go as far as two possessions, not just one try...

    San Antonio Commanders

This is what I heard. Each team gets the ball once. First and goal from the 10. No FGs. If it ends in a tie, it's a tie. I'll give this a shot because of less commercials. I'm just not sure 30 minutes less will be enough to keep me watching.

    2019 Schedule set

Based on that schedule we're looking at 9-7 or 10-6 at best. That would be par for our player personnel and coaching staff. I think Dallas should be at least 12-4 with a better coaching staff. Garrett surprised me in 2014, maybe he can pull it off again.

All he has to do is wait a year.

    SUPERBOWL LIII (2019)

The casual fan wants to see a lot of scoring. It doesn't matter what sport it is. Back in 1990 the 49ers beat the Giants 7-3 in a regular season game. I think it was Monday night. To this day it remains one of the best games I've watched.

    SUPERBOWL LIII (2019)

I actually liked this Super Bowl more than most. It was a chess match between defenses. I thought it was pretty exciting right up until the end when the Patriots could put it away with a FG. There were plenty of Super Bowls much worse when considering blowouts and just trash games like the...

    SUPERBOWL LIII (2019)

I agree on the game. Kind of liked it myself. Kind of cut down on the commercials too. For most of the game it appeared the Patriots were ignoring the play action. Rarely run rushing, they were all out pass rushing and sometimes sending a 5th. I noticed this when Hightower almost picked off...

    Conference Championship Thread

Let me be clear. Had the call been made, then yes, 99% chance Saints win. But the non call did not determine anything. Saints had more than enough chance to win. Crying over the refs not giving you a victory is pathetic IMO.

Wait a minute! Slow down on the Hitchens non call. That WR had his hand firmly planted on his facemask. IMO that is why it was a non call. Never do they have offsetting penalties in cases like that. So it was a non call. This Rams/Saints game was different. It was a blatant penalty on one...

Let's not compare the Dez non catch call to a non call. But I agree it's on par with the Sanders non call. As far as non calls go, I will acknowledge them, but I will never cry when the refs don't help us with a call. What bothers me is when refs insert themselves where they shouldn't. I'd...

    Conference Championship Thread

I can't agree. What happened was the officials didn't give the game to the Saints. They had a chance to stop the Rams and didn't. They had a chance to take the lead or win in OT and couldn't. They then again had a chance to stop the rams and failed. Stop asking the refs to give you the...

    The 2019 Cowboys Off-Season Thread

I don't think Dallas needs to give him a contract. After 5 years put him on the non exclusive franchise tag and move on after that. Running backs don't have a long shelf life in most cases. No need to be breaking the bank for a 26-27 year old RB.

Tag? Zeke shouldn't be a problem. This upcoming season is his 4th year and then Dallas can pick up the 5th year option. The Cowboys shouldn't have to worry about him until the 2021 season.
