So you part ways with Tom Coughlin. Make no other coaching changes. No changes in the front office. But you let go of Coughlin.. The one guy of the bunch who has actually accomplished shit. That's your answer?
Giants took a significant step back in my mind.
I agree with this. Carr needs to go. Claiborne I wouldn't mind having back for one more season. He just needs to stay healthy. I wouldn't lose any sleep if we let him walk tho.
Id actually be against a trade up. We need those picks. Take the best available defensive player if you have to. Not the end of the world if we don't get one of those QBs in my mind.
Idk you think Romo has that in him? He just seems like too much of a nice guy to do something like that.
I agree tho, if Romo wanted him gone and said something to Jerry, then Garrett would be. Romo has the power to save the current state of the Cowboys.
I like what McFadden did this year. Probably coulda had more success with Romo at qb too along with starting every game. I don't think it's a stretch to say he coulda had 1300 yards.
I'd be ok with him and a 3rd or 4th round rookie for next year.
What pisses me off most about us keeping Garrett is the potential of us drafting a qb with the #4 pick. He, along with his offensive assistants aren't capable of grooming a QB. At least I have zero faith in them. My only hope is Romo taking the new guy under his wing.
We could probably get a...
Shit, maybe even throw the Browns in the mix if they wanted to salvage Johnny Football.
Makes the most sense for the Titans. They have a pretty good defensive staff in place, reunite Chip Kelly with Mariota and that offense might take off.
I keep reading shit online that 9ers want Chip Kelly pretty bad. Maybe to save Kap's career.
Not sure how much of that is pure speculation at this point tho.
