Oh, and speaking of the depth of the RB class in this draft, I don't think I touch Gurley at 27. Too risky coming off of that injury with so much other talent around him. If we are just deadset on RB with our first pick I either take Gordon or trade down and grab Ajayi.

With the amount of 1st and 2nd tier RBs in this draft I can see him lasting to the 3rd. Even our pick in the third depending on how things fall, of course.

Yeah, there is a no franchise clause in the contract. So, it will either be a one year rental or we will have to get a deal done with Dez this offseason to sign Hardy longterm next year.

116 less plays over a season equals 7 plays less a game. Factoring in that most offensive campaigns are 6-7 series a game, you are looking at one extra play per series. The offense definitely helped the defense, I would never argue that, but to say it was the only reason is idiotic.

It was both. Of course less time on the field helped, but with McClain and company on the field it absolutely played better. There is no real debating that.
