    2013 Season Game Threads Mega-Merge

People like Sturm have written about how Witten stays in to block way too often on plays close to the endzone. What, you think Witten is open in the endzone and Romo just chooses not to throw it to him like he did all the way down the field?

Terence Williams to miss HOF game due to concussion

Yep, you're right. Who knows why in this particular case they did it, considering the Fred and Escobar picks were for need. (Again, why the hell we "need" to force this 12 formation is beyond comprehension.) For a while there one of the things Jerry did right, or at least said the right...

Terence Williams to miss HOF game due to concussion

The reason I liked the pick was that it wasn't a need... He was the best player on our board. We all know the fastest way to get into trouble is to draft for what you need right now.

Terence Williams to miss HOF game due to concussion

Well that sucks. Was looking forward to seeing his run of dominance begin.

Riley Cooper:" I want to fight every N-Bomb here "..

Eagles release Cooper, bringing team together. They go on to a surprise 10-6 year and win the NFC East. :sneak

You know you are from Pennsylvania when

Dated a girl from PA and went to a wedding with her there... Her mom couldn't stop with the OTT Penn love. "There's nothing like a Pennsylvania breakfast!" Scrapple, really? "There's nothing like a Pennsylvania sunset!" It's the same sun you saw in Texas, beotch.

So if those young guys get killed in a car wreck tomorrow, Witten has a better chance at the HOF than they do. We agree. High five, amigo.

Cole Beasley Not Going To Make Same Camp Mistake Twice

You don't think all fourth and fifth WRs are limited in some way? LOL I didn't do any of that. I didn't even make an argument. You're the one who earlier said if a WR averages less than 10 yards per catch, he's not that good. I just pointed out that Welker had a year like that.

Garrett refuses to divulge whether Romo will play or not. LOL I for one love the secrecy. Would hate for those Fins to have any kind of advantage in preparing for this crucial game.

    2013 Season Game Threads Mega-Merge

LMAO. Gronk (and Graham) has only played three seasons. Of course Witten has much better career numbers -- he's played seven more years than they have. And in those three short years -- they haven't even gotten to Witten's best year, which was his fourth -- they've already got far more TDs...

Cole Beasley Not Going To Make Same Camp Mistake Twice

Of course he's a limited player. Has anyone said he isn't? That he's some beast about to explode? No. It's that there's a place for a role player who can get open and convert first downs when it's 3rd and 6. BTW, in 2010, Wes Welker averaged 9.9 YPC.

That is my point, it's not always about the pure best player. It's about stats and highlights and winning teams that HOF voters can condense in their heads. I bet there have been a lot of WRs better than Swann, but he had the highlights and played for the team that got the trophies. To...

And Drew Pearson was a better player than Lynn Swann.

Well, he's not. He might be at blocking, but when have voters really cared about that.

    2013 Season Game Threads Mega-Merge

I agree with mb4 on this one. Maybe he's worthy but I don't know if he makes it. Sure he's been great all-around, but he never had the gaudy stats like Gonzalez or the new breed like Gronk or Graham, and the voters might hold that against him. Bad thing is that with passing stats only...

Riley Cooper:" I want to fight every N-Bomb here "..

Wow, I never heard about that Spurs national anthem controversy. Pretty amazing comments there. Though that is twitter, where I'm sure a lot of people are purposely over the top. Still, it would be interesting to see the reaction if someone famous made a comment like that to see how the...

Riley Cooper:" I want to fight every N-Bomb here "..

Someone on the Fan had a good point this morning: Cooper is getting more heat for this than he would for a domestic abuse case. What he did was very stupid, but it's kind of sad that there's more hate over this than there would be if he'd beaten up a woman.
