    Yep, very fair question, and we know the answer. There are tradeoffs, but I think the best thing about the change is that hopefully we won't have so many outright busts in the secondary that give the other team easy TDs.

    Exactly. I remember the year NO won the Bowl and people were all over Gregg Williams' jock that he put all this emphasis on turnovers... The next year they were pretty average IIRC. Truth is, turnovers are highly variable and there's a lot of luck involved unless you have a special playmaker...

    Agree. You said you played and coached OL, right? What's your opinion of Frederick? I admit I didn't like how slow he was reported to be at the time, but after watching a bunch of his plays, he looks pretty good to me. At least he looks strong enough to not get pushed around.
