2020 NFL Week 6: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys

It was widely reported by reliable sources not getting the info from Dallas. Asked and answered, you're just going in circles now. Stupid is as stupid does.
  2. Doomsday

2020 NFL Week 6: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys

Your fantasy idea of it doesn't. It's only ASSUMED to exist, outside of that.
  3. Doomsday

2020 NFL Week 6: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys

Not completely sold but offering upwards of 110 mil for four years. Ell Ohh Ell.
  4. Doomsday

2020 NFL Week 6: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys

It's night and day between now and the past few years. Obviously. Nothing good, but nothing even near as bad as this.
  5. Doomsday

2020 NFL Week 6: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys

Nothing I posted is an example of "tanking." There are idiots who believe it though.
  6. Doomsday

2020 NFL Week 6: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys

Putting aside the silliness of them even being able to evaluate QB talent, if they weren't sold on him they would have let him test the market. They're wishy-washy and just want him on the cheap? No. They love him and won't let him leave as long as he is physically good to go.
  7. Doomsday

2020 NFL Week 6: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys

They're nonsense. That's why. You didn't even mention Gruden letting Mack go. You might almost have a case there. But hey - Jimmy trading Hershel? Surely that was "tanking" no?
  8. Doomsday

2020 NFL Week 6: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys

No man, can you not read for context at all? You asked: "Can you name 1 player that Jerry wanted to keep and didn’t sign" And hell yeah, he wants to keep ALL of them, because he falls in LOVE with them!
  9. Doomsday

2020 NFL Week 6: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys

LMAO. They fielded a really poor team that had been getting more poor by the year. Surprised you're not saying Schramm wanted to fire Landry, so he and our draft guru intentionally gave him terrible talent. They wanted Aikman, and somehow knew he was going to still be alive come draft day, and...
  10. Doomsday

2020 NFL Week 6: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys

Pretty much all of them. You can keep thinking that, but the fact of the matter is - they love him. They think he is by far the best QB in the league. There's no way they are letting him leave and there's no way they draft an obvious replacement. Health issues excepted of course. They'll deal...
  11. Doomsday

2020 NFL Week 6: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys

But dude... We're breaking records of bad from the 40s and 50s now. Not just recent ones.
  12. Doomsday

2020 NFL Week 6: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys

Please give one example of it happening in the NFL. Really. 1989 Cowboys?

    The never-ending POTUS Election Tracker....

Even stupider than that - bitching about expenditures already budgeted. It's not like we dipped into some emergency fund for the flyovers. LOL
  14. Doomsday

2020 NFL Week 6: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys

Sure did not. Context is key. Nonsense. Money wasn't the issue, the checkbook was open. Dak's handlers didn't want a shorter deal than 5 years. It was all about positioning him for the even bigger payday down the road. Getting that one extra bite of the guaranteed moneypie.
  15. Doomsday

2020 NFL Week 6: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys

Because with pretty much this same talent, we weren't all-time bad. We weren't breaking league records from the 40s bad. 300 page playbook they already know? Or a 1200 page one they don't know, written in a foreign language? Which one works without a training camp or a preseason?
  16. Doomsday

2020 NFL Week 6: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys

Some of that was in Jimmy's book too, especially in the second edition. There's always a proverbial straw, and Richards was the straw. It's the only one the league office called them on the carpet for.
  17. Doomsday

2020 NFL Week 6: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys

Yeah, and the definition is more in line with Dodger's description of it, than what you think it is. What you think it is, does not in fact, exist.
  18. Doomsday

2020 NFL Week 6: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys

Can't say won't or will. In fact won't even say it's necessary, in their minds. Tagging him again will be cheaper with the greatly lowered salary cap that's coming. But one thing I AM sure of - Dak is their guy.
  19. Doomsday

2020 NFL Week 6: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys

Not at all. But there's a huge difference making wholesale changes to a defensive system when you also already have marginal talent when you start. Normally you can get away with it, this year as Dave said, no.
