NFL Week #7: TNF | New York Giants (3-3) @ Dallas Cowboys (5-1)

Yeah if you want to know who should really get credit for this year, it's Romo. Amazing how none of this great blueprint was working worth a damn the first 1.5 weeks when his back was shot. And oh btw... My Lambs. :towel

How the Cowboys drafted — and lucked — their way into one of NFL's best o- lines

Yep. Also, I remember that we had the legendary Mikel Leshoure ahead of Murray on our board. Still have that screen cap of our draft board on my PC somewhere.

How the Cowboys drafted — and lucked — their way into one of NFL's best o- lines

My source (seriously, a radio guy who covered the team for decades) always said the real driving force behind drafting Tyron was Houck. You know how Jerry hands out draft picks as he pleases. And of course he was the oldest Jerry crony of them all and someone Jerry made the highest paid OL...

Is there not a 2014 college thread? Or did I just miss it after about five looks? Anyway, Fla State is the new Miami. Come on ND.

Eric Dickerson advice to Cowboys: Dont fear 400 carry mark, keep giving DeMarco ball

I think 1) they were toughened up from hitting in practice and 2) more injuries are discovered and players are held out more often. Back then I think they were more willing to shoot it up, tape it up, and send the guy back out there.

Eric Dickerson advice to Cowboys: Dont fear 400 carry mark, keep giving DeMarco ball

Saw that show today. My favorite non-Cowboys player ever. Just an incredible, amazing talent. Besides his tremendous speed, Brian Baldinger, who was on the team with him at Indy, said he'd never seen a player like him. Said not only was he never hurt (until like his sixth year in the...

Linehan: Ground Game Was Garrett’s Top Priority When I Signed On | Dallas Cowboys

That's funny, Omega. I noticed when Arkansas played Bama last week (and they showed Jerry at the reunion of players from the NC 64 team) the TV guys said they'd talked to Jerry and he absolutely loved the direction Bielema was taking the team even though the record isn't very good yet. It...

Like to see the Cowboys take a flyer on Jarryd Hayne

I wonder why they picked cornerback. Seriously doubt he would have the agility or quickness to do that at 220 lbs. Like you say, safety or probably just special teamer is where he might have a chance. Wonder how he'd feel about being a grunt special teamer after being a star in his sport.

Jerry Jones accused of sexual assault...

The way her lawyer made a point of saying Jerry hadn't paid them... I bet he paid them.

    Are we good?

Good post, junk. I think the short week might have affected them, but I also think they're a little banged up. Chancellor wasn't himself -- there were several times he wasn't moving well at all out there (look at the Randle run). We now know Okung has had a bad shoulder. Unlike some, I'm...

    Who you got? Week 7

Beckham is pretty talented, if inexperienced. And I like Randle as a chain-mover and red-zone guy if nothing else. I'd be worried about that tight end, too. But no doubt losing Cruz will hurt.

    Who you got? Week 7

Yep, plus even more than that, everyone for the first time all year telling them how great they are. No more underdog, everyone-hates-us chip on the shoulder. And the Giants were looking very good the couple weeks before that Eagles game. I bet it's a closer game than most think, but maybe...
