NFL Week #13: Thanksgiving Games | Philadelphia Eagles (8-3) @ (Dallas Cowboys (8-3)

Right, but same difference. Not bring him back is what I mean. And I'm with bb, I don't think we collapse. Bears may not even want to play anymore since they're out of it. Skins will probably be in absolute disarray by the final week. I think we win 10 or even 11 games. Which don't get me...

That's true, and/or what happens when a lot of guys get their big contracts? They may not play the same. Probably human nature.

NFL Week #13: Thanksgiving Games | Philadelphia Eagles (8-3) @ (Dallas Cowboys (8-3)

And you know what, as much as I know Garrett is a huge bag of spare, I could almost understand not firing him if we got to 10 wins. Not for him, because he adds nothing, but for the coordinators. Marinelli really has done a good job with a bunch of scrub talent, and Linehan seems to connect...

NFL Week #13: Thanksgiving Games | Philadelphia Eagles (8-3) @ (Dallas Cowboys (8-3)

Wow, I didn't realize that. Because as for how much the PSLs were... They cost a fortune. I don't know about every last one of them, but many (most?) were tens of thousands of dollars. No wonder we have so many opposing fans. If current fans are unhappy, they can't get out of the contract...

JJT: Three Thoughts on Cowboys' 33-10 loss to Philadelphia

Agree with both of you guys. cmd, I would like to know all that, too. Of course the best example of that inconsistency was when we passed on Floyd and Ciskowski and Garrett were throwing a fit. And then we had to hear that McClay was promoted "to get everyone on the same page." But how the...

JJT: Three Thoughts on Cowboys' 33-10 loss to Philadelphia

Good questions, cmd. I've wondered about McDonald and remembered those stories when I've seen him playing pretty well for the Lambs. I bet they'd blame Ciskowski and say that's why he was demoted. But I wonder how much of that is truth and how much is BS. I do seem to remember that...

JJT: Three Thoughts on Cowboys' 33-10 loss to Philadelphia

That's part of the process. If you change stuff every couple of years, you can sell it that now you have a new and better way. And your dumb fans and idiots like JJT buy it.

NFL Week #13: Thanksgiving Games | Philadelphia Eagles (8-3) @ (Dallas Cowboys (8-3)

Actually 2009 was in Jerryworld. But Garrett's never had one. How pitiful is it that 9 wins could save your job after starting 6-1... But that's what'll happen.

NFL Week #13: Thanksgiving Games | Philadelphia Eagles (8-3) @ (Dallas Cowboys (8-3)

Playoffs or not, I can't see us losing four in a row... So the sell will be that Garrett finally had a winning season. That's improvement, after all. You know it'll happen.

Dez Bryant awaits rematch against "kinda cheap" Eagles

Full on Stockholm Syndrome has set in with some regarding Garrett.

Dez Bryant awaits rematch against "kinda cheap" Eagles

Yep, said it before, but Jerry isn't the one causing horrible clock and timeout management or calling 55 passes vs 10 runs. As much as Jerry is a problem, Garrett's terrible game management is 100% his own fault.

Dez Bryant awaits rematch against "kinda cheap" Eagles

So you admit he's not good... But wouldn't even want to *try* anyone else? How does that make sense?

Dez Bryant awaits rematch against "kinda cheap" Eagles

I love the thinking that Jerry is an absolute idiot who could never make a decent football decision... But the guy he plotted and schemed to hire for a decade is actually a good coach being held back by his boss.

Dez Bryant awaits rematch against "kinda cheap" Eagles

Yeah, they ran the ball what seemed like 15 times in a row. It was so obvious they were trying to burn clock and didn't want to risk Sanchez putting it in the air, and we still couldn't stop them. That was as disturbing as anything. Well not as disturbing as Pitbull, but still pretty bad.

Cowboys' new archivist tackling game footage, draft data from Dallas' first decade

Yep, no proof but I'm pretty sure. Think he's linked to his site before.

Are you sure? Because the New Landry himself does it. (No, this isn't shopped.)

Dez Bryant awaits rematch against "kinda cheap" Eagles

^ Yep Dooms and Sheik. Plus what does Garrett do after bad performances? Passes the buck, blames his QB, and otherwise refuses to take responsibility. A legend like Bill Parcells can stand up after the game and on his own initiative say, "I'm embarrassed to put a team on the field that performs...

Dez Bryant awaits rematch against "kinda cheap" Eagles

:towel Listening to this press conference of cliches right now. Total joke. Even as I type this.. "Learning experience in all three phases." "We did some really good things in the game." Like what? Only thing worse is this press corps of suckups.
