The Marlins have lost something like 17 of their last 18 games and their manager just up and quit out of nowhere.

5 LOW-COST Safeties to Possibly Pursue

Harper or Elam would be just fine by me. I think both guys would be a major improvement.

I don't know.. i don't have the attendance figures for those markets so i couldn't tell you. That's what i was saying earlier. Im sure its like any sport though, the teams that lose constantly don't have as many fans coming out to see them. You're never going to change that no matter what sport...

Archer: Abram Elam should be safety choice

Yup. Was on the Rams. They had some injury problems at receiver and he really stepped up and became the go to guy for Sam Bradford.

Archer: Abram Elam should be safety choice

You haven't produced one fact in this entire discussion. Only the "well Crayton knows this, and Jerry knows that and yada yada yada im full of myself even though i sound retarded". The FACT is, that Danny produced when given the chance, showed a set of skills that we lack on this offense and...

Archer: Abram Elam should be safety choice

If you play well with the rest of the team, you'll find yourself on the field no matter what the depth chart says. There's no doubt if we kept Crayton he would have been more productive than Roy has been with us, yet we made the choice to not offer him alot of money and basically replace him...

It he fits in well in our offense, he fits in our WR Corp. lol Your logic is astounding sometimes.

I don't know how it is in all markets, but from being near the Philly area, i can definitely say baseball around the tri state area is alive and well. The Phils sell out pretty much every game and whenever games are on, people are watching and talking about it.

Archer: Abram Elam should be safety choice

Crayton fit just fine in this offense, and was a favorite target of Romo when he left. He would have stayed no doubt had Jerry not traded for Roy Williams. We didn't have any money left to pay Crayton really. Jerry had his boy and was riding on him.

Archer: Abram Elam should be safety choice

Actually, as he proved this past season, he can play the slot or play outside and be an effective WR. He'd just be a better fit in the slot. You using the fact that he was put on the Boys practice squad and then decided to sign elsewhere as fact that he's not good enough is not a logical argument.

Predicting the NFC East, Pre free agency

You can pick a favorite whenever you want. Its called a prediction. How do you think fantasy football is so huge right now? Or how we get those preseason predictions every year? All it takes is making an educated guess. That's what a favorite is for goodness sakes, the prediction of the masses...

Predicting the NFC East, Pre free agency

The Eagles are third in the division right now. They have serious questions about their defense, and with a year of teams seeing Vick again, they will be hard pressed to have as much success on the offensive side of the ball. Cowboys and Giants over the Eagles is my bold prediction for how the...

Archer: Abram Elam should be safety choice

Its not hard to understand if you realize what skill set most good slot WR's have. Roy is not a slot WR, we just try to place him in that role because he has a monster contract and we have guys that are much better than him. We have plenty of red zone targets available. Dez, Witten, Bennett...

    Felix Jones: Tackle Breaker

How many times do you see guys in the NFL break big gains untouched? Any good back is going to have to break alot of tackles if you want those big gains and TD's, so its good to see Felix has been doing that fairly well.

Archer: Abram Elam should be safety choice

You could compare Randy Moss to Sam Hurd if you looked close enough both guys would have at least a couple common traits. Saying that Danny is a safety valve for his QB doesn't mean he's as talented as those other guys, just means he serves that role in his offense and that it is a valuable...

Archer: Abram Elam should be safety choice

You call me a fool, then comment on how it was Garrett's decision to let him walk when its doubtful that was his call and certainly not something you can prove.. yea. Settle down there lil guy. Bottom line is i'd take Danny over Sam Hurd as a receiver anyday, so saying he couldn't crack our...

Archer: Abram Elam should be safety choice

Danny would fit our team very well as a slot receiver right now, if you chose to look at his skill set and realized that he was played alot as an outside receiver in St. Louis. Just because we made the decision to release him doesn't mean he didn't belong or wouldn't have been a better option...

Archer: Abram Elam should be safety choice

How many 2nd and 8 or 3rd and 8 situations did we face last year compared to 2nd and 9 or more and 3rd and 9 or more? Figure it out.. 8 yards gets you the first down almost every time. Welker averaged 10 yards per reception last year and was again one of the best WR's in the league. He's been...

Archer: Abram Elam should be safety choice

Funny how people can forget how big a role possession receivers can play in this game. Not everything has to be a bomb down the field. Look at friggin Wes Welker. He's made a career out of the dink and dunk passing game. Catch the ball, get the first down. Its that simple.
