    I'm of the mind that most here are thinking that you let him walk while he's still productive. Someone else will overpay him for the skills he has left, and then get robbed for the money they are giving him when he's a shell of what he once was. I'm pretty sure we've seen Spencer's best.

    Doesn't make sense that he says he was planning on leaving a few weeks later anyway. It makes more sense that he would have, like you said, stuck around for another year or so if Orlando hadn't happened. Take a walk hours after possibly winning his 3rd straight... makes much more sense.
