Is Jason Garrett's job security the greatest among NFC East coaches?

No doubt going OB was terrible, and a well-coached team would know that, but I won't even put that on Garrett. I think McFadden just brainfarted. The QB should be reminding the back to not go OB on that, but maybe he didn't, or McFadden thought he had the first, or whatever. But after that...

Is Jason Garrett's job security the greatest among NFC East coaches?

Right, think about all the times when a team has the ball and a one-score lead at the end of the game right before the two-minute warning. If the defense (losing team) is out of timeouts, all the offense has to is get a first down and the defense can't stop the clock again, Three consecutive...

Is Jason Garrett's job security the greatest among NFC East coaches?

yim, why do you have us calling a timeout after 24 seconds on 3rd down? (Edit, Dooms beat me to it.) And yes, the problem was running in for the score. The only way they have a chance barring a huge TD return is if we run it right in and give them the minute plus to tie us. Also, I think we...

    Jerry not happy with Garrett

Heh, that actually crossed my mind the other day. We'd have been way better off with your boy out there. At least then there'd be a young guy who *might* improve and might offer you something for the future. And there's no way he'd have been any worse than Cassel was in the first half last night.

Is Jason Garrett's job security the greatest among NFC East coaches?

LOL Also, this Tom Gribble who is with the Ticket and ESPN Dallas was there at the game getting audio from the Jerry interview, so they asked him what Jerry's demeanor was like -- did he seem as negative as those comments sounded, etc. Gribble said yes, Jerry didn't seem like his usual...

Is Jason Garrett's job security the greatest among NFC East coaches?

I heard that, and almost couldn't believe my ears. He probably heard some old coach say that sometime and thought that kind of inside jargon would made him sound like a badass. This guy is such an absolute joke.

Is Jason Garrett's job security the greatest among NFC East coaches?

Probably just means Linehan better get his resume dusted off. Garrett's probably lobbying for his OC job back behind his old buddy's back.

Is Jason Garrett's job security the greatest among NFC East coaches?

That's one of the negatives about the game. I can see Jerry rubbing his hands together right now, dreaming of a miraculous run to the Super Bowl.

    2015 NFL Week #13: Dallas Cowboys (3-8) @ Washington Redskins (5-6)

That was seriously like one of those Cleveland-Jacksonville MNF shitfests I normally watch about ten minutes of.

Why the hell didn't we throw to Dez the first 55 minutes of this game? Unbelievable.

Don't see how they can call it good. His elbow landed out of bounds first. Great catch though.

Yeah... At least do it on that third down. Dez just caught the long one, he's got to be feeling it a little. But I seriously think Garrett is almost content to just keep it close, even if we lose. That way he and his fans can say how we kept it close, scratched/clawed/fought to the end, etc.

:lol Why not just lob it up to Dez? Even Cassel can do that. Garrett is the single most risk-averse person I've ever seen.

I kinda thought his butt hit the ground first, but if they aren't absolutely sure they should keep it the way it was called o the field.
