    Maliek Collins injured broken foot

First, he'll be back for the season. Second, he's a rookie. We don't even know if he can play yet. Third, even if he does show he's useful, he probably wouldn't really be productive until halfway through the season anyway. Overall, this is hardly a big deal. Much better now than in camp...

    Maliek Collins injured broken foot

It was Maliek, the rookie DT from Nebraska. I'll edit the title to clarify.

    Leary is leery of OTAs

But I have it on good authority that GMs around the league consider Steve a great football man... :lol :lol :lol

Intresting factoid about TOP and how it relates to takeaways

Well barring crazy injuries -- and I don't mean the typical NFL injuries this organization loves to use as an excuse, but really unusually bad injuries -- I think the offense will be almost unstoppable. But like cmd said, the defense could be so bad they make up for it.

Intresting factoid about TOP and how it relates to takeaways

Turnovers have always been highly variable. I used to look at the stats on that for different years and it was amazing how often a team that was near the top in turnovers would be near the bottom the next (or previous) year. The latest seems like it was Greg Williams that year they won the...

    Leary is leery of OTAs

Unless they're named Demarcus Ware or anyone else who makes a good scapegoat. Oh really? People wanted to trade for a McFadden you signed for cheap, or a Morris you just got off the scrap heap, or Dunbar who is injured? I call BS.

Not Cowboys related, but Baylor's Art Briles apparently out

I don't think they or anyone else would touch him after this scandal. The guy is a truly great offensive coach, but there have always been rumors about him being shady even back to his high school days. Hey, Jerry is friends with him. Maybe he can come here. He might be done in college...

"I have been saying for the last seven years now. The team needs speed [at WR]!"

I've wished forever that we'd get more speed. Don't know why we never seem to. Jerry seems to think big, slow guys are better, maybe continuing Parcells' love of big players at every position. But it would be nice to get some cheap TDs every once in a while, either throwing to a WR over the...

Dallas out of running to host SB until at least 2022

I remember some dispute about who was at fault for the seating fiasco, Jerry or the NFL. Sounds like the NFL aren't blaming themselves.

    Leary is leery of OTAs

From what some of his teammates say, I think if anything he's underrated as a player by a lot of fans. Problem with trading him is probably that knee condition. Who knows how long he can play.

    Jaylon Smith playing this year?

I don't trust anything from that birddog26 guy. Pure organizational shill.

With draft and free agency complete... which standard guys are on the bubble?

I do remember the DMN or wherever story that Mid is talking about, though. It was in the offseason or preseason before last year. I still think Garrett is the one who liked him and he was only drafted because Garrett's BFF Chryst coached him at Pitt. Maybe Dooley really did like him, or...

    Premature Prognostication

I had to think about that myself before I posted... He had the mysterious "cyst" before he signed the extension, but the one that sidelined him came at the end of 2013 when Orton had to start that last game vs the Skins, and I don't think there's been one since then. He has had multiple...

    Premature Prognostication

Well, I guess you could be right, but what is the evidence for that? Last times we've seen him he's been good, minus the Thanksgiving day game vs a truly great defense. So much of Romo's strength is the way he sees the whole field and makes quick reads, and I don't think he'll lose that. And...
