Did we win the Super Bowl in 2014?

Mike Leach mentions being overly happy with a decent year at around 4:00 but there's all kinds of non-Garrett at around 3:00 or really anywhere else on here. Mike Leach tears into his team - YouTube

DMN: Blame the head coach for Cowboys' loss, too

And one more thing on that generic d-bag kicking Garrett's ass Sunday: Musers were talking about the stajium sun problem this morning and pointed out how Ben Freaking McAdoo said they'd studied the sun problem from previous games and tried to call plays to minimize the ball going to that part...

Did we win the Super Bowl in 2014?

It's not you. It's sickening. We barely beat a lousy Lions team at home with the benefit of a critical call that went in our favor and they act like it was the 92-93 seasons. It would be like, I dunno, the Yankees bragging about one wild card series win or the Lakers crowing about beating a...

DMN: Blame the head coach for Cowboys' loss, too

Watching Pittsburgh's offense compared to ours is simply disgusting. Their offense is a thing of beauty. It's definitely chess compared to Garrett's checkers game.

Sullivan: Stop Trying Not To Lose, Getting Dez Involved Among Thoughts

Eyebrows have to raise a little when a DC.com superhomer like Sullivan says anything negative about the red fraud.

    Day After Thoughts: SSDY

I thought that was weird, too. Did he get hit or something? I don't remember anything happening to him but I thought maybe I missed it.

Sun doesn’t shine on Cowboys, but does blind them on two fourth-quarter incompletions

Maybe I got the game wrong... Or did they close them later in that game? Seems like whenever it was, they closed them during the game.

Sun doesn’t shine on Cowboys, but does blind them on two fourth-quarter incompletions

Why don't they just close those huge curtains like they did in that Atlanta game the first year?

    Day After Thoughts: SSDY

Exactly, cmd. The Giants "overspent" on their defense and it looked a hell of a lot better yesterday. Meanwhile Zoners are polishing their Offseason Prudent Spending Award trophies in their new #21 jerseys.

Sherrington: Jones could have bought a pass rush instead of a team helicopter...

Said it before, but it seems to me that the Steve Era of Cap Responsibility arrived at exacty the wrong time. If ever there was a time to overspend, it was the last couple of years when Romo is at his end. Instead we've "cleaned up our cap" so much we have a defense with no players.

2-13 in our last 15 games

Unfortunately winning percentage doesn't matter. Jerry is 100% comfortable with Garrett as coach.

Romo expects to return to lineup “sooner rather than later”

If they put Romo out there before he's ready with the seriousness of this injury, Jerry should be sued for about 100 billion dollars. It's beyond irresponsible to even consider it.

DMN: Blame the head coach for Cowboys' loss, too

Yep, TZS. And Garrett won't even hold himself accountable. He actually said at the postgame PC that the offense did a "really good job" in the first half because they ran 40 plays and controlled the clock. So long drives that end in FGs are a good thing now. Never mind that little detail...

Why we lost (besides Twill's lack of awareness)

I was very disappointed in them yesterday. Yes, the Giants spent money in the offseason, but that was a terrible defense last year and I can't believe how they handled us up front.

DMN: Blame the head coach for Cowboys' loss, too

Maybe that's part of the problem. Maybe Jerry needs to stay mad.

Sun doesn’t shine on Cowboys, but does blind them on two fourth-quarter incompletions

But if you'd make it run north and south, all those people from I-30 wouldn't see it nearly as well. Can't have those millions of cars looking at the ass end of Jerry's opulent Monument to Himself.

    Random post game 1 questions

    1. Teams weren't scheming to take Dez away in preseason. 2. It's not you. This is a "take what the defense gives you" offense, not a "take what we want" one. Fits Garrett's passive personality. 3. No, I wasn't that high on him in the one preseason game he played. See #1. Also, I'm not sure...
