    Day After Thoughts

Imagine how awesome he will be playing DT in a 4-3. Less double teams.

    Day After Thoughts

It's got to be Jerry's philosophy or desire because it was the same under Wade as it is with Rob. We run a 3-4 with the smallest 3-4 d linemen as well as smaller ILB's. A 3-4 works best with big, roadblocking D Linemen and bigger ILB's who can take on guards 1-on-1 if they have to. We have this...

Releasing Doug Free = 13 million dollar cap hit

VINDICATED! Spotrac.com @spotrac @cmd34 @SportsSturm He's right, our bad. We were adding in the restructure bonus twice. #earlymorningmath $8.35M is the official dead money

Yep, Brown is a physical freak. Mental midget but athletically, he's gifted.

Releasing Doug Free = 13 million dollar cap hit

I've been talking to him on twitter. I think he saw the 2012 restructure bonus of $4.8M and thinking that gets added on at the end. the $4.8 restructure bonus is paid at the time and the cap hit is spread out over the remaining years of the contract, which was 3 years (2012, 2013, and 2014)...

Jason Garrett’s list of end of half game management gaffes continues to grow

He proves every week that he is not ready to be a NFL Head Coach. This is the opinion of almost anyone I have read or talked to who isn't an over-the-top homer.

Releasing Doug Free = 13 million dollar cap hit

One of the same places I use... http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/dallas-cowboys/doug-free/ He's wrong. Again, I think he is counting the 2012 season. If you cut a player, you owe them the divided salary bonus hit ($4,175,000) times the number of years remaining on the contract (2, 2013 and 2014)...

Releasing Doug Free = 13 million dollar cap hit

I'm not sure where they are getting their numbers unless they are for some reason counting his 2012 season (now) which wouldn't matter since this season would be over if we cut him in the off-season. I don't have access to roster bonuses or player incentives but nothing I can find shows Free...

    How does Houston do it?

A consistent running game makes them that much more dangerous in the passing game. They have drafted well and made some solid free agent choices. They do not have "superstars". Arian Foster, Andre Johnson, Watt, etc, all seem to be team first guys. Bradie James nailed it. The owner has...

    Jerry's praising the offensive line...

I have a feeling we will address the O Line early and possibly often this off-season. Especially if we get a new HC. If the average fan looks at this team and screams the O Line is the issue, what do you think actual coaches (outside Jerry's control) see ? I think teams and maybe even dumbass...

    Jerry's praising the offensive line...

It won't happen, but I would really appreciate it if reporters just stopped asking Jerry questions about the actual team. Holds press conference, no one shows up. Grabs reporter to talk about new player, reporter asks when is Garrett available to talk.

    Rolando McClain..WTF?

I know. How dare I say he should be a 4th or 5th round pick? I mean that's pretty much me guaranteeing success. Good Lord man, get off my nuts.

ANOTHER reason I hate Jason Garrett

Nothing he says has any merit anymore. He is literally all talk.

Stephen Jones: ‘We certainly can’t afford to overlook mediocrity’

I think Austin is too likeable by the organization and his teammates. I feel it's more likely he restructures. Plus, if he's cut we need a new starting caliber receiver. Yes, Romo is a kingmaker but our back-up WR's will get exposed as everydown starters. I think Free's a goner.

    Rolando McClain..WTF?

It's gonna be fun watching you squirm when Tyron is wrapping up his Hall of Fame caliber career. He's 22. Mana Silva is the man though.

Stephen Jones: ‘We certainly can’t afford to overlook mediocrity’

The team has been overlooking mediocrity from the General Manager for 17 years.
