    2016 NFL Draft Thread...

When you think about it the Dallas Cowboys have been incredibly lucky for most of its history in QBs. We had Eddie Lebaron to Don Meredith to Craig Morton to Roger to Danny. Almost an unbroken line of at the very worst good QBs and two HOF and two other Pro Bowl QBs. And we only had a couple...

I am willing to bet real money that will be out there almost word for word....

    Food for thought

its sad that Mickey is such a complete tool of Jerruh. Because he can actually now and then write well.

NFL.com Bucky Brooks Top-5 by position

yeah- if we take a secondary player that high he needs to be a turnover machine-otherwise pass.

yeah I think he is too raw for a top 10 pick.

    Jeremiah Top-50 1.18.16

calling Wentz a two year starter is misleading somewhat as he only had 7 starts this year. I really worry about drafting that high someone with so few starts overall.

Rang: Lynch, Goff joining QB class full of promise and projects

Jerruh and his shiny toy syndrome. Yeah I could see it. Fact is no matter how big and tough your QB is it only takes one hit the wrong way to park him on the bench. The SMART thing is to have a system so that he gets hit as little as possible. To me what is between the ears is so much more...

Archer: Dallas Cowboys right to stick with Jason Garrett

sadly I think Red Ball has bought into all this new age PC crap. And thinks that is all you need.

Vasily Alekseyev - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia he as I said knew how to work the system. Best example of that was the way he would break a world record= doing it so that he got as much money and other benefits as he could. Was pretty sharp.

lot less evidence of that in his case overall. Just too few starts to use a first on.

love your avatar. Just depresses me to realize I am old enough to have watched him competing. He was one of those that really knew how to work the Soviet system.

too few games as starter to use a first on. The guy is beyond RAW.

Rang: Lynch, Goff joining QB class full of promise and projects

would NOT use a first unless very late in the round for Wentz. Too few starts in college to really evaluate him all that well. I see every year the same mistake made with QBs= everyone slobbering over size and arm strength instead of what is really important, what is between the ears...

Cowboys, 49ers, Rams best NFL fits for Cal QB Jared Goff

Deep outs are important but the intermediate routes are where ALL QBS make their money. Goff is already excellent there. To me he is the clear choice if you are going to toss a first at a QB this year. Lynch does not quite seem to be as much of a film room rat like Goff is; so there is that...

It's official... I'm off the Romo bandwagon. Can't wait until he's gone.

to me it comes down to the D being unable to make any critical stops when it mattered the most.

What was Mincey referring to here?

Mincey was PART of the problem so I have hard time slurping up everything he says. Haley certainly caused a lot more problems here then Hardy could probably dream of. Look at Hollywood with Landry; and some of the others that have been around. Irvin was a nightmare a lot of the time...

and how many times in the 4th did the D make a real stop that mattered this year? Our D was a bend but not break one that could not when it really counted stop the opposing O if it was any good at all. Mostly due to our poor secondary play. Our Front 7 as it currently is - I would call top...

certainly were not diminishing last year. As long as the package is fairly complete (O line, Dez, Witten and a decent Running back) Tony will get us a good number of points. And if the D can finally step up then that would be enough for us to go a long way. Maybe all the way

Sabin: Romo's heir? Why Cowboys and others are intrigued by Carson Wentz

he is not as dedicated as all reports Goff is. Simple as that. Take it any way you want.

the evil devil perched on my shoulder is whispering in my ear that this is exactly what Romo wants. He has the power and he likes it like it is for some twisted reason. Because he KNOWs he is the straw that stirs the drink and even if the drink sucks half the time it is HIS DRINK. HE OWNS IT
