    does this mean no physical? Do free agents normally take physicals before signing? I've heard of players doing this when they are coming off major injuries but not regular free agents.

    No, no. Much better to pay Romo $16 m and Spencer $10 m and then lose at least 1 of them next year and then have to overpay the other with a franchise tag to stay. That's the much better plan.

    I like Huff in Kiffin's scheme. Safety with corner like skills. Allen doesn't suck but doesn't impress me either (which means we'll sign him). I think Justin Durant was the reason the Lions were comfortable moving Ernie Sims in the first place. Plus, he's from Hampton, my almost alma mater.

    why are people and more importantly the media harping on us bringing in free agents and "don't have the money to sign them"?? If the Romo extension is as close to done as being reported we could have as much as $10M in cap room today.

    Which rookies do you hope will not be drafted by NFC East rivals?

    no one in this draft really scares me. a lot of "potential" guys who could be beasts or could be busts. no one from West Virginia scares me. The only person in this draft who scares me is a 70-year old hillbilly who sits center camera in our War Room.

    Tony Romo is my f'ing hero. No other QB has to try to get by every year without an Offensive Line, Head Coach, and General Manager. Sad thing is if we gave him just 1 of those things he might actually pull it off.
