    Donte Rosario signs with Dallas.

If we stuck to our board, we would have picked Williams, not Escobar. Esplain that, Lucy.

I don't see much of the no huddle either. We have too many subpackages. I mean, whaddaya do? Deal with the 4 WR attack with Bryant/Austin/Williams/Harris or the vaunted TE duo? Can't run no huddle changing it up. We are just all over the place and seem to think shock and awe on paper is...

Same guy. Just a different angle.

    Donte Rosario signs with Dallas.

Nope. But I bet your ass we won't have him riding the bench at any point on crucial downs so we can give Escobar his snaps any time soon.

Oh, I dunno... I think Miles Austin's hamstrings and horrible contract will have his ass off the team well before Witten and historically a third WR will see more passing targets than a second TE in a normal offense, but hey, that's just me.

    Donte Rosario signs with Dallas.

Sure. But we have people like superpunk claiming that hey, adjust what you think the second TE offense can do. So...if they aren't the second coming of the NE duo or the 1980s Chargers, they probably should be a blocker then. Fasano was regarded as a better blocker than Escobar though. If we...

We could have drafted another guy much later. But we chose to spend yet another premium choice on a second tight end. And your explanation is because we didn't resign John Phillips? Being married to the scheme does not mean you invest that kind of draft capital. Unless you are an idiot...

Go find me a single scouting report that gives him more than an average blocking evaluation and then compare it to both Bennett and Fasano and get back to me. Until then STFU and stick to talking about cats or being a flaming liberal retard.

So why did we spend another second round pick on a TE? We could have just crossed our fingers for more "continuity" and pray to the injury gods.
  10. boozeman

    Donte Rosario signs with Dallas.

Fasano and Bennett were far superior blockers to Escobar. Nice try though. We could have the same thing you are talking about with Hanna's natural progression IMO.

What kind of crow suppers? The way some of you people are dreaming about this, it tells me you all expect this to be the Patriot offense. I feel pretty safe that Escobar won't show up and terrorize the league. I have even less confidence in Garrett's ability to make that work while also...

    Donte Rosario signs with Dallas.

Yeah, spending three second round choices at the same backup position doesn't mean they should be putting up big numbers or nothing, right? The fact they won't be putting up big numbers or even on the field the overwhelming majority of the plays should mean a lot for a second round pick. Maybe...

Cowboys almost $10 Million Under Cap, Have More Cap Space Than 21 Other Teams

Livings was reported to be part of it at the time, I recall reading something that even after Archer originally reported it in February, that in reality it didn't happen.

So the years before that with Bennett was that much better? How about Fasano before that? Bottomline, it's up to Garrett to make the offense work. This is his third shot at it after two pretty big whiffs.

Cook was restructured as part of the kind of thing that everyone does a few months ago, so he's pretty safe.

There is probably a real reason why we haven't signed Moore. I don't think Callahan is a fan. He even tried to bench him in his final year with the Jets. I don't know why people keep hoping for him because he likely isn't on the radar.

Cowboys almost $10 Million Under Cap, Have More Cap Space Than 21 Other Teams

:lol So why use the Steelers as an example to support your flimsy stance? The Eagles have been far more successful in the salary cap era than the Cowboys. So in comparison to Dallas, they do win shit. Feel free to keep blabbering on that "TEH EVERYONEZ DOES IT" and then use crap examples...

Dallas has one playoff win in the last 18 years playing the extending contracts game. Pittsburgh at least has three Super Bowl appearances during that time frame so it makes more sense for them to continue playing the game. Bigger brighter colors for you.
