    Witten and Romo dont need some preseason opener to prove how tough they are. Jimmy would play Emmitt one series max (or not at all) and I don't recall anyone having an issue with it. The preseason opener is not the time to test your highest paid veteran leaders.

    Exactly. No experienced coach with solid veterans would risk all of this just to put a cute little drive together in the preseason opener. It accomplishes nothing.

    Of all players, Witten and Romo need the least amount of work. Even the QB-center exchange shit doesn't not require preseason game time to master. The purpose of that game should have been to evaluate youngs guys and assess for roster cuts.

    Gingertwat strikes again. And this obviously will get much worse if he requires surgery. I can't recall a preseason opener ever where our starters were in so long. Reason #8,000,000 why an experienced coach is more important than some dude who thinks he knows it all.

    Didn't look like anything really improved much from last year. The oline is still shitty and the defense looks confused. Keyshawn is a Cowboys hater, but he was very right when he said that Garrett is by far the worst coach in the NFC East.
