CNN: Aaron Hernandez commits suicide in prison

Kind of sad gen pop didn't get to take care of him, though.

JJT: Garrett made call on benching Romo

I think Steve is the finanically-minded one. As soon as Dak had some success, I knew he would be campaigning for the fourth-round rookie. Dak's tiny cap number compared to Tony's probably gave him a chub.

JJT: Garrett made call on benching Romo

I didn't get that feeling at all during the season. Jerry talked about Romo, yes, but Steve seemed to like Dak. JJT has been on Garrett's orange crotch forever. This is most likely just more props for the puppet to make himself look good.

Sturm's most memorable Romo moments; why he was a miracle in the end

If it helps any, Bob was complaining loudly yesterday about the Mavs making him an honorary player, saying he's not really worthy of all this. Of course that ceremony is more about Mark Cuban getting attention for himself, which has been a success.

Romo to retire, go into broadcasting

No, was that just now? Love that from Tony. But I hope he realizes outwitting Garrett isn't saying much.

You can't catch lightning in a bottle.

I really think Dak will be fine. Don't think he'll ever be Aaron Rodgers dominating with his arm, but I do think the Russell Wilson comparison is valid -- smart, great leadership, not many mistakes, can make backbreaking plays with his legs when necessary.

You can't catch lightning in a bottle.

We should be good again, but who knows. That's why I was saying last year that we better take advantage of a great year with good health and all the momentum on our side instead or just assuming we're at the beginning of a steady run of playoff appearances.

Romo to retire, go into broadcasting

Wasn't comparing him to Romo. I was comparing him to Dilfer, who got it done. So he must be better. Curious, are you guys blaming Dak for the one and done last year? Because that was basically the exact same situation as 2007, which I'm sure you guys blame Romo for.

Eagles Acquire Timmy Jernigan From Ravens

I thought the Ravens were unhappy with his play and conditioning... At least I thought that's what NFL was saying.

Romo to retire, go into broadcasting

Witten's never got it done, either. Guess he sucks too. And Trent Dilfer still > Dan Marino. Cuz he got it done and stuff.

Romo to retire, go into broadcasting

So it would be better to have a shit QB and therefore shit team because that would never inspire hope? Give me a break. And hastening Jerry's demise as a GM? What the hell? The only thing that has hastened that at all is old age. Jerry's never given a shit about his effectiveness as a GM...

Romo to retire, go into broadcasting

Don't see where it follows that if he isn't as good as a top-2 or -3 of all time, he's crap and good riddance. Tony is by far the most accomplished and competent of those three. And again, I'm not a fanboy. I know he wasn't perfect, or even as great as a few claim. But we were damn lucky to...

Weird, so they didn't have it before? How did they expect to work out a trade?

How Tony Romo and Jason Garrett’s relationship fell apart :-(

It's because, besides being an over-the-top opulent Monument To Himself, it represents a huge cash register to him. No doubt he's always cared about the money first.
