    I'm sure Marinelli would love to have a Garrett (the #1 overall one, not our spare coach) type talent, but what are you going to do picking at #28? I don't like that we're basically picking entirely for need -- Steve as much as told the world we're picking a CB with our next pick -- but oh well.

    Said it before, but Steve is very arrogant. He thinks he's got this thing all figured out. And the drafting has been a lot better lately, so who knows, maybe he does. But it could all be good fortune in a small sample size, also.

    But I think Steve has the mentality that can separate the two, unlike Jerry. Engineering mind and all that (as Jerry has told us forever). It's kind of the same way he can talk Jerry out of a famous hotshot QB in favor of a boring guard.
