Wimbley has had plenty of help he plays with Seymour and Kelly 2 players who are above average and have been named all pro. Tommy Kelley had 7.5 sacks last year and Seymour had 6 and Wimbley rushed the passer over 150 more times than Spencer. Its comparing apples to oranges.

Why should I not assume that people who post on a cowboys board have not watched a guard who played on the Bengals? I think the odds are highly in my favor that collectively this board could not even name him before Free Agency let alone watched him play a snap. I don't assume anything about...

Sturm Good and Bad makeover at G

Who ever said anything close to this? I never read anybody saying he would be a starter for a long time or that the line was set for the next 5-10 years. Please tell me who made these statements.

It's amazing the hate Livings is getting from people who have never watched him play a snap.lol I can understand some head scratching but just all out hate? By any metrics he is at the very least a average starter.

I don't know what to expect from Livings but using Mathis as a reason to be upset makes little sense.

The Bengals have had one of the best run blocking lines in the NFL over the last 3 years so I think you should give them some credit for identifying linemen. Why exactly do you not have any faith in the Bengals, they just had a above average running team while relying on a rookie QB and...

Well yeah doesn't the superior player usually start? Mathis was a 3rd round pick who has been on 4 different teams and could never beat out Livings. Why should I think differently? Because Mathis had 1 good year after being widely considered a draft bust. Livings was undrafted so its not...

You mean the scrub who beat him out of a job and was the reason Philly picked him up off the scrap heap last year when the Bengals no longer wanted him? I am not jumping on the Livings bandwagon but there is no way Mathis should be thought of as a better player.

Do you think Connor signing helps give us flexibility to a 4-3?

Since when is a team passing on every down? I was referring to the extra pounding he will take in the running game. Having to stand up OT's on running downs will affect his pass rush later in games and the season.

Bill Barnwell reiterates my brilliance re: Robinson

I never saw him do any of those things and it was 1 off the main reasons i thought he was getting overrated. I can't remember one contested ball or a catch where I said that was a great individual play.

Its simple the guard either doubles the NT or blocks the LB. Are you really this clueless?

Cowboys interested in Bengals G Livings *** UPDATED*** Livings Signed by Dallas

I don't know crap about this guy but he was a starter for 2 years on a above average run blocking o-line and we were not the only team interested in him. Fisher wanted him in St Louis.

Do you think Connor signing helps give us flexibility to a 4-3?

The 3-4 defense is a basic defensive formation that is used by several NFL teams. Bud Wilkenson devised the alignment at the University of Oklahoma in the late 1940s. The alignment features three down lineman and four linebackers in the front seven, thus the name 3-4. If you take a look at the...
