    ** 2017 Training Camp thread **

Bob Sturm insists that Jerry does consider Tony the real backup and he'd get him out of the booth if Dak got hurt for any length of time. I can't see it though. Maybe Jerry thinks that way, but I don't think Tony could quit the #1 job at CBS.

The 2017 Dallas Debacle as I see it.

And most of all the Great Red Fraud. But I do think Dak is that guy. He's going to save Garrett's and the Jones' asses the next few years. He's literally going to make Jerry hundreds of millions of dollars. Because if this team had Connor Cook like it wanted, we'd be looking at a Bills or...

    ** 2017 Training Camp thread **

I honestly wonder if they don't think if Dak gets hurt, it's fine to tank the season and get a better draft pick. Worked two years ago and the media ate it up like candy. Because yeah, Moore is awful. They can't really think he can play for any length of time.

Zeke Elliott case STILL under league review, Revis totally cleared

The afternoon Ticket guys, who apparently know a lot of people in the Dallas nightlife scene, were saying yesterday that they hear Zeke runs really hard. One guy said he drinks a TON. Basically they said he's been partying so hard that if this didn't get him, something else would have soon...

    Stars and Strife

Was in the car last night and heard someone say Bayless claimed all NFL players should go on strike until Kaepernick got a job. :lol

Zeke Elliott case STILL under league review, Revis totally cleared

That is weird. I didn't ever look into it, but did they ever explain why Brown didn't get the six games?

Zeke Elliott case STILL under league review, Revis totally cleared

Reading some more about it, I guess he's the first to have this happen under the new DV policy, right? That's why he's getting so much more than Brown. Also, in the letter the NFL wrote to him, it says the Columbus police actually believed the girl. Not sure why they didn't prosecute. But...

Zeke Elliott case STILL under league review, Revis totally cleared

I think so too, but they better do the same punishment on everyone else. Is Zeke the first one to be punished since she was hired? He's not, is he?

Zeke Elliott case STILL under league review, Revis totally cleared

If all we in the public know is all there is, I think it's BS, too. I think it's probably BS anyway. But they might actually have evidence we haven't been told about. In fact, that's why I think they must have something compelling. I can't see their doing this just because they feel like it.

Zeke Elliott case STILL under league review, Revis totally cleared

I wonder if Cris Carter was right about him trying to destroy evidence. Also wonder if this isn't about his overall pattern of incidents even though the league claims otherwise. Still don't think there's any way he actually misses six games. I bet it gets substantially reduced.

No kidding. Absolutely ridiculous. I'd be embarrassed to even say that.

Zeke Elliott case STILL under league review, Revis totally cleared

Still think there's a great chance Elliott gets nothing and all this handwringing will have been for naught. I really thought that before he punched out that guy at the club. That last second incident might be enough to get him a game or two.

    ** 2017 Training Camp thread **

The Jones Boys (Garrett included) see camp as a place where players get hurt more than a place to prepare the team to play well. So the more they sit out, the better. I'm sure Belichick agrees with that.

    Gruden hints at coaching comeback

Exactly, plus he got that former team to a conference championship game.

NFL.com What we learned in Cards/Cowboys

Yeah, he was in a different league from Moore. Basically made our starting backfield look like like fools.

Signings and the rumors of signings

It seems to me that as Jerry gets older and more frail looking, and as he gets more emotional in his old age, more people are liking him. Which is pretty sickening.
