They arn't constantly forced to get rid of talent.. actually in the years since 98, they've both signed and developed alot of young, talented ballplayers. The main reason that the Marlins haven't had good fan attendance since the 90's is because of what their owner did after that first world...

Dude, in the last 20 years, they've been over .500 only 6 times. Back in the 90's, when the franchise began, they were over the average for a few years in fan attendance. They won the world series in 97, sure, but the year after that they held a fire sale like idiots and gave away all their good...

Yawn.. im the child huh? No one's even talking to you, yet you feel the need to keep jumping in. I made a point that the teams who don't win consistently don't have the fans coming out, as it is in any sport. He said even the teams that win, like the Marlins, don't have fans coming out. I...

That's correct, the discussion was with Rock, someone who knows the game.. so your all done here bud. We'll call you if we need your 10 cent input, thanks. My quote: "Like any sport, the teams that lose constantly don't have as many people coming out to see them." Rock's response: "Teams that...

Rock's quote was "even teams that win (marlins) don't get attendance" ..and as i've shown the Marlins haven't won consistently in decades and are not a top team. /discussion. Or you can keep it going with your insults and nonsense.. truth is though you're just a douchebag who likes to argue...

Does that fact that they were borderline in the wild card hunt some years make up for the fact that they have only been more than 4 games over .500 4 times in the last 19 years? No.. it doesn't. The point Rock made was that they win.. and as i've shown they don't. I couldn't care less what...

In the last 19 years, they've finished more than 4 games over .500 only 4 times.. and they've finished less than 6 games back 0 times. They've finished 3rd or worse in the division 16 out of the last 19 years. But yea.. they've been right there every year. lol

I don't know.. i don't have the attendance figures for those markets so i couldn't tell you. That's what i was saying earlier. Im sure its like any sport though, the teams that lose constantly don't have as many fans coming out to see them. You're never going to change that no matter what sport...

I don't know how it is in all markets, but from being near the Philly area, i can definitely say baseball around the tri state area is alive and well. The Phils sell out pretty much every game and whenever games are on, people are watching and talking about it.

In crunch time in the finals, he did absolutely nothing. Dirk wanted it, and he came out and played like a star. LeBron came out and absolutely blew it. That's the difference between a player with great ability, and a great player. LeBron is the former, Dirk is the latter.

The best player in the league doesn't fold when it counts and lose confidence in himself and get nervous on the big stage.. which is why LeBron is NOT the best player in the league. Most ability i'll give you, but not the best. Also, his play has nothing to do with why people dislike him...

..and they're still going to be learning how to play together 6 years from now with the way that team is structured. That's what happens when you put 3 superstars who all demand the ball on the same team. Not enough touches to go around, then you get to the point where you're trying to force...
