    Hey "Fans"

I LOL'd. Props. Reporter: "Do you ever feel embarrassed in the wake of the Cowboys missing the playoffs for the fourth consecutive season and losing a win-or-go-home Week 17 game for the third straight year?" Jones: “I don’t know. Would you get embarrassed if you were standing in this stadium...

Claiborne wants positive talk about career

It's funnier the more you post it. Why is it the most vocal homers are all Simple Jacks? I'll put that question to your glorious leader. David ?

Claiborne wants positive talk about career

Ha! I completely forgot about that. Crazy to believe a team that went 4-12 was thinking about Romo coming back at the end of the season to lead them on a playoff run.

    Tulloch in the middle?

Since McClain put us in this position, I'd like to see what Hitchens, Wilson, and Nzeocha can do. Not that I have a bunch of faith in them but if this defense is as bad as I fear they might be, there is going to be like 5 job openings next year on defense. We need to know what we have in these...

FWST: Cowboys must allow Jason Garrett to cut Rolando McClain

Yes, this is the homer's greatest weapon. Wait until the team makes a decision and then rationalize it. Keeps him - Jerry is so devoted to these guys. He never gives up on them. Cuts him - Jason is clearly in charge. Leadership!!!!!

BTB: Picking Jaylon Smith: How The Cowboys Made The Controversial Decision

And you just want to make excuses. Unfortunately, the players don't play extra hard due to your amazing loyalty and devotion.

    Hey "Fans"

I liked how when I was a kid and young adult they used to compete for championships almost every year. I also used to think Spiderman and Wolverine were pretty cool.

BTB: Picking Jaylon Smith: How The Cowboys Made The Controversial Decision

You reach for a RB at 4 one second and then draft a player 1 to 2 years away the next? That's not balancing your strategy. It's not having a solid strategy in the first place.

BTB: Picking Jaylon Smith: How The Cowboys Made The Controversial Decision

Don't agree. Great player, could/should have drafted him lower. I don't believe the Cowboys believed that either (they just really wanted him) because they felt the need to lie about Baltimore wanting Elliott.

BTB: Picking Jaylon Smith: How The Cowboys Made The Controversial Decision

Romo's window is closing. Elliott at 4 was justified by "this helps Romo the most now". Then one pick later you are focused on the future? with a player that might not even have a future by the way.

BTB: Picking Jaylon Smith: How The Cowboys Made The Controversial Decision

A lot of "if" in that post. The games start September 11th. Jaylon Smith will be wearing sweats. How much value is that?

Claiborne wants positive talk about career

Coaching was definitely a factor. That and having Patrick Peterson, Honey Badger, and Eric Reid in the same secondary.

Claiborne wants positive talk about career

I don't want to get my hopes up but it's one of the only things that keeps me from giving up all together. Next year's defense should be minus McClain, Claiborne, Church, Carr, and Wilcox.
