    Al Johnson, I'd forgotten about him. HORRIBLE PICK for sure. I grimaced with the Carpenter pick, listened to it on the radio on my way to El Paso that year. I wanted Manny Lawson (I think) instead. Neither turned out too great.

    Sorry, Jerry doesn't get credit for drafting any of the top 3. Jimmie drafted them before Captain Ego came in and ruined a good thing. I'd put Carver as the worst pick by far... complete reach to try and replace Haley

    Todd Haley was an interesting idea. I kind of like it. Rob Chudzinski and Pat Shurmur didn't get much of a chance with the Browns, perhaps they were not given enough time to prove themselves like Belichek. I would prefer a defensive coach. Winston Moss? Ray Horton?
