There's no way at 3-5 this team decided to play rope-a-dope. If they were playing rope-a-dope on offense, they would have never traded a 1st rd. pick for a WR.
I think part of it is the OL. Sua'Filo and Looney are adequate, but not ProBowlers. We have a good OL this year instead of great due to...
Oh he can throw. He throws a football and it looks like a baseball coming out. He also makes everybody else on the field look like they're running in mud.
Doesn't matter though. He's going to be a baseball player. He'll probably come through Midland when he hits AA and I'll see him first hand.
EDIT:
I'm using my one change for the year.

It's most likely Eli's last game, so they'll want to send him off with a win. The primary concern won't be momentum, but trying to keep warm on the side line.
Garret will go for 2 in the final minute to avoid OT. By the end...
I'd rest them all.
If we were going in flying high then you could make a case for momentum. But the only chance this team has is to go in at full strength, as healthy as possible with a rested defense and go all out.
I'd pick out 11 scrubs and let them play both ways. Let Eli have his going...
I have NEVER seen that called. I've seen defenders come across the line causing the OL to jump. I've seen defenders kick the football to slow the offense down, but I have never seen that called. Ever.
