WTF is wrong with Alaska? Republicans put this ranked choice voting in place and after Democrats abused it to defeat a pro-Trump candidate and install Murkowski to the senate, Alaska tried to get rid of the ranked choice process and again Republicans blocked it.

Do you know why Murkowski is going to win her seat again when she is up for re-election? Republicans will run another MAGA tyoe candidate against her but She will get enough votes, presumably from Democrats to keep her in a 3 way race. Then Democrats will vote for their candidate for first place, and Murkowski for 2nd. The split vote will again give none of the 3 candidates 50% of the vote so Murkowski will win when her first and 2nd place votes are tallied. Every time.

While we have a Representative form of government, we have Democratic elections where the one with the most votes wins. Ranked choice voting allow a candidate with fewer first choice votes to win over a candidate with more first choice votes. It is undemocratic.
