It's pathetic on a couple of different levels. The officer was found guilty after a bench trial in which the judge presided and heard the evidence. The fact that his defense attorneys didn't take this before a jury is very telling. The jury pool in NY is compromised.

ALL leftist judges that have ANY history of rulings like this should be rounded up and imprisoned.
They never face any accountability at all, no matter how many lives their horrendous rulings destroy. And this ruling vs LE is just typical of the leftist fucktard agenda.
These people don't deserve any due process either. They have all had shown a gross dereliction of duty and failed the communities they serve by letting filth and slime back out on the streets OVER AND OVER AND OVER.
