No backtracking Dooms, we know what you were doing.
There was another video - most all of these are posted on the official Cowboys Facebook page - video showing Aubrey kicking everyone's ass in golf ball driving. Outta nowhere. He's actually a big strong dude.

He's a legend.

He's like Chuck Norris.

It's a shame because the kid could have had a generational career; he's extremely talented. But I just get the feeling that he's not football oriented.
He did a heckuva job manipulating the system going from an off-ball linebacker whose careers are shorter and they don't make nearly the money of an edge guy to one of the highest paid defenders in the league.

I've thought for a long time but never typed it, that from Day One with his agent they conspired to orchestrate everything we saw. From suddenly not being able to play off-ball at all, to becoming a gadget splash-play type edge who can't play the run and whose entire game is a series of business decisions, then having his "injury" and his camp hold in... Then BAM they sprung their trap on Jerruh after he did what he does, negotiate one on one with the player and leaving the agent out of it.

I can even hear the agent pitching it to Parsons - "Hey kid you wanna end up like the last five or six mike linebackers Dallas has had? Short money, short career! Wise up!"

This has been covered numerous times, but he got moved to part-time pass rusher as a rookie due to a number of injuries at DE (I think he started there week two when we literally had almost nobody) He played more LB overall as a rookie and they gradually went from doing the DE only on pass rush downs to playing DE almost exclusively.

I have no doubt it ultimately worked out the way he probably wanted, but it was sort of bad luck that he ended up there to begin with.
