The NFL just keeps shooting itself in the foot. If they weren't insulated from financial loss thanks to TV contracts and seat licenses, they'd be in trouble. To not have BB in the HoF on the first ballot is a travesty and just a joke. But at least they landed Bad Bunny for the SB half time show to keep some legitimacy for their brand.

A recent tweak in the HoF rules is the only reason BB was eligible. Normally wouldn't be. This is why your Shula, your Landry, your Lombardi, and yes Jimmy, all had to wait five years.

Apparently getting caught, fined, and disciplined twice for cheating throughout your career negates or tarnishes your accomplishments in some voters minds.

Who knew?

Hmmm….

I'm talking about eligibility. BB was eligible for the HoF. The dude is a first ballot HoF'er, hands down.

Word's been it's due to SpYgAte.

Then Brady shouldn't go in first ballot because of Deflate Gate. The whole thing is bogus. Someone didn't like BB and decided to rig the system against him. And I'm also reading BS about "well, he had Brady..." Yes he did....and Jimmy had Troy and Landry had Roger and Noll had Bradshaw....so fucking what. Lame ass bitches. Put a good/great coach with a good/great QB and you have a chance to make history. That goes for any team.

Blocking BB from the HoF is black eye to The Hall and the NFL. Someone should lose their seat at the voting table. This one is simply outrageous and I'm no fan of NE or BB. But you have to be man enough to tip your hat and we've lived through the greatest SB run that may never be duplicated.

The HoF voting has been a fucking joke for decades. This isn't the first example, it's just the most egregious.

It’s nice to see the the Cowboys front office didn’t just do what they have always done when it comes to hiring a DC. Which is hire a retread past HC who failed and lost his job.

It is encouraging that they actually made a legit effort to find a new up and coming DC this time around.

Hopefully they give him what he needs in free agency and the draft to build the defense the way he wants/needs.

Maybe, just maybe, by doing things differently this time around we may actually see some different results.

They've stepped aside and are letting the chef choose his kitchen help and servers. Letting him have at least some say on the ingredients too. I agree it's encouraging.
