Parsons didn't, despite being younger and more dynamic than Williams. The price for whiffing on Mazi has been very steep indeed.

I don't think we overpaid.So we had to overpay because Jerry the GM sucks at his job. That makes me feel a lot better.
They acquired a great player that barring just "getting lucky" we were unlikely to get anyone that good in the draft (and certainly not in free agency).

I'd argue Parsons helped, certainly drew more attention away from others.
Q Williams draws double teams at an extremely high rate (and wins v them too). He should make a difference.

Look...I get it. But 2027 was a year we might serious look for Prescott's replacement and that draft pick was huge.

And we'll still have a 1st rd pick in 2027.
I'm 100% with you that finding the next QB has to be a priority, but they still have the draft picks to do it in one of the next two drafts.
