I'd love to have an affordable robot that could do any type of chore I came up with. If the kinks were worked out and worked close to that of a human, I'd buy one right now for 30K, maybe more. It would be bargain if it could do chores, paint the house, mow the lawn, etc, etc until it became enlightened and ended up like this one:
