Never mind that they've been to 8 conference championship games and 3 super bowls since we did anything of note
Sometimes teams run into bad luck ("cursed"), but San Fran has been on the cusp.

I mean, if Willis doesn't get a holding call, if Moody doesn't miss the extra point, if Purdy hits his man...soooo close.

I'm glad I'm not a San Fran fan because I'm still not over Jackie Smith dropping that ball in the end zone or that bullshit call on Bennie Barnes, LOL...and friggin Hollywood Henderson....ugh..

I'd rather not be in the SB or get pummeled like the Bills did than lose a close game that comes down to a play or two. It's brutal to lose on, say, a missed extra point or "wide right".

Could say the same for Green Bay. GB defeated Dallas in Dallas & Love almost pulled it off in San Francisco as well. GB shot themselves in the foot w/a few costly errors. Talk about a 9-8 team getting hot at the right time.

Whiners were VERY lucky in that playoff win. So much so, they didn't have any business even being in the SB. In all 3 of Shanahan's SB appearances (w/3 different quarterbacks) they had double digit leads & choked. If it were Dallas, some fans would be complaining about that too.

Dallas is expected to go to the Superbowl every season because of their past success. Different times & players. If it were easy, Whiners would have 8 rings & the Lions, Browns, Jaguars & Texans would all have made it to the big dance as well.

Would be stupid beyond belief to make Prescott the highest paid player in the league. He's nowhere near the best player, nor the best QB in the league. Further, he is coming off another epic playoff flop in terms of his level of play.

But it's 100% the kind of dumbshit fuck-up move this front office is known for.

i like most of patrik walker's stuff, but not this. i dont think DAL needs to sign a TE right now... at all.

stephens jr is coming back and looked promising
hendershot is a fucking idiot but thats ok, hes a special teamer more than anything now
they just drafted schoonmaker who should continue to develop
mckeon is fine as a TE3/TE4

plus, how many 2 or 3 TE sets did DAL even use throughout the season ? was it enough to need to have 2 really really good pass catching TEs?

Yeah that seems pretty lame IMO. Not opposed to seeing us draft one (late on day three) but we know Ferguson is a stud and they just drafted Schoonmaker. Hendershot is a waste of space though.

2 and 4 would be nice but probably impossible cap-wise

2 and 8 might be doable

There is NO WAY that Dak doesn’t become the highest paid player in the NFL

And it has nothing to do with being the best. It never has.

It has to do with being the next in line to get paid. It’s been that way for ever

Two wrongs don't make it right.
