I suspect people know this but Trump isn't going to get us in a long term war and further enflame the region. I would have hoped the military turned on the regime but they're to radically entrenched. In any event, it's not like Congress or the Senate are helping the President either and are fighting him at every turn. He was dammed if he did and damned if he didn't. The wait time will be short. If the Dems win the mid-terms then any hope of a free Iran will die with it. If the Republicans keep control, things will change. Just my opinion.

Again, every death every effort every bit of treasure spent is wasted so long as the islamist occupiers remain in control. This goes all the way back to Mohammed himself. Sign some treaty or agreement use it to buy time while building back better and wait out any hawks.
