"It was never BLUE!!!!" is another mindless refrain and it's funny - last night I'm watching Tom Hanks' "World War II" on the History channel and during the Pearl Harbor episode there it was, archive film in living color: the reflecting pool was BLUE in December 1941. I wonder if they'll edit that for future broadcasts.
