I saw that posted on X late on Monday, I wasn't sure of the persons sources so didnt put it up here.

But then this news of a UAE/Israel alliance came out, so maybe there is something to it. I also saw Trump made some comments yesterday about Iranian citizens soon getting armed.

Wish there was an Iranian ex-pat army too, the less American troops on the ground the better imo, let them take their country back, they need skin in the game vs the US doing all the heavy lifting

The administration started arming the Kurds, but that seems to have fizzled...
Maybe if the leadership and IRGC can be further disabled they'd get involved.

I dont think they'll be using many (if any) American troops. If they had ever intended to do it they probably would have done it by now.

They want the locals to handle it.

I think that, on the ground we're gonna be hands off. We'll be doing air and logistics support. Missile strikes where directed. Intel and tallying.
