I've said it here many times. The average American cannot not outthink the left, just as you cannot out think a criminal. Their brains are simply wired differently. This stunt by Mandami and the Governor isn't about taxing the wealthy. It's about keeping wealthy people from fleeing the city and losing that tax revenue. They can no longer flee the state and it's heavy tax burden. If someone wealthy kept a home in NYC, they'll get taxed even if they don't live in the state. If they sell the home, whoever buys it will know full well he'll have to live there and it can't be a second home, thus guaranteeing a tax base for NYC.
In addition, if you're going to sell an expensive residence in NY, your asking price just went down because some people just won't buy it only to get taxed if they don't live there. It's a scam and could only be thought of and imagined by a criminal mind.
Democrats are always looking for new ways to take our money. All they ever do is take things away from us. Not just money, but other things like incandescent light bulbs, plastic bags, gas cars, gas lawnmowers, and other garden tools, guns, cigarettes, sugary drinks and even basic rights like free speech.
What they stand for is completely contrary to the foundational ideas that make America what it was intended to be.
Anyone who still lives in NYC deserves what they get. I wonder what it would take to get them to move out? For those of us who live in the vicinity of NYC, we know that since Giuliani left the city has gone down him and must faster with Deblasio as mayor.
