Then Brady shouldn't go in first ballot because of Deflate Gate. The whole thing is bogus. Someone didn't like BB and decided to rig the system against him. And I'm also reading BS about "well, he had Brady..." Yes he did....and Jimmy had Troy and Landry had Roger and Noll had Bradshaw....so fucking what. Lame ass bitches. Put a good/great coach with a good/great QB and you have a chance to make history. That goes for any team.

Blocking BB from the HoF is black eye to The Hall and the NFL. Someone should lose their seat at the voting table. This one is simply outrageous and I'm no fan of NE or BB. But you have to be man enough to tip your hat and we've lived through the greatest SB run that may never be duplicated.
And now it's Kraft too. Both Kraft and BB still eligible, they're not blocked in any way. They're just sitting in the penalty box for a year. Not seeing any outrage over Kraft for some odd reason.

So are we sending in owners because the HC was successful? Jerry is in for his contributions to the game. As much as I hate and despise Jerry, he changed the game for the owners and made them all rich beyond their wildest football dreams. Can we say the same for Kraft? He's a good owner because he allowed his football people to be football people. Not sure that's HoF worthy and nowhere near the snub BB got. It de-legitimizes the NFL and the HoF. They have a permanent black eye and if I were BB, I'd snub the Hall and tell them to pound sand. NFL fans with a fraction of brain function know.........

That team was extremely unsuccessful until Kraft bought it. He's won before BB, with BB and now after BB. He's also the guy Goodell turns to out of 31 other billionaire owners, to negotiate the TV and streaming deals. 11 super bowls? That's not just success.

I just never was into pearl clutching. It's reported now that BB missed getting in by one single vote, and they're saying the same for Kraft. I just don't see the problem.

There has to be a rule around here about drinking and posting. Kraft was .500 or so before BB with a SB appearance. Hardly the stuff of legend. And Parcells left because he couldn't "buy the groceries." And Pete Carroll was a bust.

BB drafted Brady and the rest is history. Whether Kraft got into the Hall or not has nothing to do with BB, Brady or anyone else. They should all be recognized on their merits. BB had the greatest record and SB run of any coach in modern football and it's not even close. Same with Brady at QB. If we have to debate whether the guy is a first ballot HoF'er we all suck. It's really that disgusting a topic.

What did he "win" before Belichick?

As for your TV comments, Jerry Jones was the point person on the FOX Deal in 93/94 and this is what opened the flood gates for the NFL to take in billions. Jones also changed the way teams did their own marketing, netting these people bookoos more money (something they vehemently opposed and criticized when Jerry started doing it, now they all do it)

I don't see where Kraft did anything HoF worthy, other than hire Bill Belichick. As Dodger noted, Jones is not in the HoF over anything "football" related, he's in because of what he did to change the league. Kraft has done nothing to change the league.

Spare me the BS. Will you have the same opinion/stance for Tom Brady when his time comes? It's ludicrous. Brady was fined a million dollars and suspended for 4 games. He was fined for than BB. But I don't care. The guy was the GOAT.

The NFL and HoF has forever tarnished what little reputation it had left. Enjoy Bad Bunny.

He won nothing and fell on hard times with Pete Carroll. BB saved that franchise. But Dooms, who we all have internet love for, has cornered himself with his ridiculous argument. I'm willing to bet that he had more vodka delivered last night......
That franchise was dead dead dead until Kraft bought it and turned it around. At the tiller he directed that boat to 11 super bowls and counting.

Brady continued winning super bowls long after the cheating and even with TB. It's unquestioned. BB stopped winning anything after TB left. I'm not pearl clutching over cheating Bill OR Kraft. I'm fine with them missing out for a year. TB won't miss out.

Bills and Jets fans disagree. THEY along with Miami fans think letting cheaters in the HoF tarnishes it. So do lots of other fans from all over.

He had nothing to do with the super bowls, other than helping Belichick out of the NYJ situation

brady, belichick, and kraft all belong in the HOF

if NFL films did a movie about the history of the NFL, you wouldn't be able to tell the story without the 3 of them. what they did is insane and how long they did it together

tom brady was the most talented of the 3, but he never took a snap on defense

consistency, consistency, consistency. year in, year out. dante scarnnecchia was the OL coach for many years, but every other coach rotated. bill o'brien, brian daboll, charlie weiss, romeo crennell, josh mcdaniels, matt patricia, eric mangini, joe judge, brian flores... front office guys like nick caserio, scott pioli, dimitroff, bob quinn... that adds up, yet the ship kept sailing

kraft has done well at developing the patriots brand, built a stadium without help from the public, and let the football guys that he hired make the football decisions... ultimately up until the end when he chose bill over brady

HoF had no problem voting in players from a team that massively abused steroids in the 70's

And I have no problem with that either.

I simply have no dog in the fight and just enjoy giggling at old ladies clutching their pearls over something that has NO effect on them whatsoever. I'm hoping one of them can point me to where the mean ole HoF hurt them. It's ridiculous.
