Its like that every week with him too.

And Eberflus still insists on playing him.

I'm not a coach and I don't doubt these guys have a detailed knowledge of the game. They don't get to the pro level of coaching without it. But I do know people and when I see that type of play, repeatedly, week after week, I make a change. Even if it seems like it's a lesser player. I simply make a change. Murray is that bad.

Amigo Dodger wins the prize

When you have an owner that doesn't prioritize coaching and doesn't know how to build a team and doesn't allow "real" coaches to coach and be seen as the alpha (which is what you should hire in the first place), these things will repeatedly happen. Barring Jimmy and BP, we had no identity. We were and are just a collection of pieces best used by the marketing department to generate revenue. Jerry took the same tact with BP when he needed his shiny new stadium. It's just who he is.

As much of a disaster last night was there was a bright spot in the play of Ryan Flournoy. He has really been coming on lately and is on track to be a very good receiver. As much as I would love to find a way to keep Pickens I just don’t see it due to the Jerruhs mishandling of the salary cap. Plus we have too many holes to fill on defense and it’s going to take more than filling those holes with only draft picks. It is my understanding that the upcoming draft class has many high caliber receivers. Anyway, in the midst of this terrible performance, Ryan Flournoy had a very good game and proved he is worthy of being a # 3 and possibly a # 2 if he continues to play the way he is playing.

And this team almost fucked this up beyond belief.

Flournoy made the roster out of preseason, then was surprisingly cut a few days before the Philly season opener. I am still stunned no WR needy team claimed him. We got lucky that he cleared waivers and we resigned him.

It was a painfully stupid move and one we got lucky as hell didn't bite us in in the ass. Flournoy clearly appears to have future starter potential.
