Pickens has been amazing, but Lamb has been one of the top players in the league since we dumped Cooper. Dude's had 3 straight 100+ reception season, had a season with nearly 1800 yards and has 4 straight 1000+ yd seasons. How soon some forget.

Little premature. Plus Pickens does see great looks on most pass downs because of the attention Lamb normally draws.

Lamb basically missed 4 full games otherwise his overall numbers would be pretty close with Pickens. Need to clean up some of the drops obviously, but this whole talk of Lamb stinks and Pickens is way better is pretty lame.

I love what I saw last night. Pickens is a beast and I would LOVE for us to resign him for next season. However, I just don’t see that happening. This guy has positioned himself for a huge payday and priced himself out of Jerry’s (comfortable amount that he will be willing to pay) for Pickens. So I just don’t see Pickens here next season. He will end up somewhere with a HUGE payday. Good for him, he will have earned it. But bad for us!

As far as the playoffs are concerned, I think it’s already too late for us. We have dug ourselves a hole soooo deep that I just don’t see a way we actually dig ourselves out of it. It is likely that we can only lose 1 more game for the rest of the season for a shot at making the playoffs. And I just don’t see us going 6-1 down the stretch with this upcoming Gauntlet of games against some of the best in the league. We have the toughest strength of schedule for the remainder of the season.

Now granted some of the teams that we will be playing have put up some bad games lately. But I don’t expect that to happen when they play us. Not only that, but our Turkey Day schedule and having 3 games in 11 days (or whatever it is) is going to be a killer on us. That’s “if” we can even keep everyone healthy.

With all that said, I do see huge plus sides to our current roster. I just think it’s a little too late for this season. But I am looking forward to seeing what we can do next year assuming all our major players stay healthy and we can resign Pickens.

I agree Amigo but I just think Lamb drops way too many passes for a #1. No doubt he's got good numbers but that's because Dak also forces him the ball. Pickens and Lamb for a couple of years playing together is good for this team.

If you remember the yr Cooper left Lamb had a couple games where he dropped a few throws, then he cleaned it up and took off.

He's had a few of those this yr but he's never been a total ball dropped guy you cant trust. I think most of it is concentration related/pressing maybe for him. He'll be fine.

We could re-sign Pickens. It would be difficult, but there's always a way. Over The Cap has our 2026 cap situation as the worst in the entire NFL after the recent trade acquisitions...

Some big savings will have to be made. Lots of contract restructures will be made to push yet more money further down the line (most notably Dak again). One of the DTs will have to go (my money is on Clark as he's the oldest and has no guaranteed money left and would save $21.5M). Making both Diggs and Steele post-June 1st cuts would save another $29.5M. So like I say - difficult, but could be done.

I’m sure we can do it. I just don’t see Jerry being willing to commit that much to a 2nd star WR.
