Again, even Dak thought it would only be a 15 yard penalty. Game is just getting started and you throw out a star player, not a backup, not just a guy, but the best defender on the team without knowing what happened.

Bad call, and only people with blue colored glasses would think otherwise. Yes, it was a penalty. NOT an ejection.

Or how about the call with Fergy in the end zone? That was ticky-tak. The DB is running full steam. YUP, he had enough time to see Fergy drop it, but the reason for the arm going up was to brace himself. Did the refs expect him to just stop on a dime without bracing himself?

The point is YOU are only looking at it from a Cowboys point of view, so you disregard all the calls that went against the Eagles.

And, BTW, when that type of play is drawn up, they know full well the DB is coming in hot, so the ball placement needs to be perfect.

There was also another medicine ball Dak threw to Ferguson.
Even players around the league are saying he deserved to get tossed dude

Sad Happy Hour GIF

Crazy game. Including the first punt which wasn't till the end of the 3rd quarter! Dallas was well prepared, credit goes to Schottenheimer. Team seems disciplined. Unfortunately the crucial drops by yours truly (yet they kept tossing him the ball as if he were the only WR) and the fumble literally cost Dallas the game.

Play Philly at home, crowd noise, last year's Super Bowl Champs, 1st game of the season, every reason for the team to be deflated especially after the Parson's drama/trade.

Dallas is going to win a lot of games this year even though the media heads are saying "they won't make the playoffs, again". I loathe losing games like this. Especially against Philly.

I expected a loss and that is what happened. I expected the game to be over at half time and it wasnt. I am too numb to losses to celebrate close ones as moral victories. I do think Carter being out made a big difference, A couple of Cowboys whose poor play flew under the radar was Guyton who got beaten like a rented mule on at least 5 plays and Elam who they were hunting on defense. The Giants game should be interesting, they have some pass rushers.

For all that the Chiefs have accomplished, I don't think I see them celebrating simple catches or runs. The Eagles JUST won the SB. Did you see as much? Maybe my eyes just weren't as focused on the Eagles.

I saw, for example, Hurts run into the end zone and throw the ball underhanded into the stands. I saw Barkley jump up and down a couple of times after scoring. I'm talking about celebrating a catch. A first down. Or sometimes, not even a first down.

But what Lamb and Turpin do is they flex like they are bad asses after catching the ball.
I would like to see the league ban those end zone celebrations where the entire teams run to the end zone after a turnover. Is that really necessary? The orchestrated choreographed celebrations are a blight on the game.

Just been looking at the snap counts. Obviously it's only one game and it's easy to overreact, but there were a couple of things that stood out to me...

Liufau saw only 6 defensive snaps. Murray played all 63 defensive snaps, Sanborn got 48, and Damone Clark got 42. Could it be that Liufau just isn't Eberflus's cup of tea?

Luepke only saw 8 snaps on offense. Needs to be at least double that imo.

I am encouraged by the adjustments made by Shotty at halftime.
I am encouraged that adjustments were even made, based on the history of this team in this century.

Guyton had a pretty solid game considering he had hardly practiced and was coming off a significant injury. There's some clips of him that are quite good, including one where he Erik Williams a dude big time.

He gave up 5 total pressures but the Eagles didn't get any sacks (on him or anyone else)

Still not game ejection worthy! NOT at the beginning of the game! Penalty worthy, yes. Not game ejection!
Oh gee, somebody else thought this behavior warranted a game ejection too.

And like knucklehead Carter, dumbass does this right in front of the ref.
