This smells to me like a potential plant from Cowboys FO, potentially to drum up real incoming phone calls and hopefully maximize his value. Ultimately, even though Fish is rarely right, maybe we are trending towards trading him after all.
Only recourse after Parsons cheapened himself with the bullshit antics. I bet (hope) Jerruh is taking any calls that come in.

I don't know if this is true or not but I do recall months ago Parsons saying he did not need to be the highest paid Edge rusher in the league. Jerry should have signed him then but instead waited for Garrett and Watt to sign raising the price. He also chose to criticize Micah publicly, then lie about a deal, then disrespect Micah's agent, then lie against about the agent telling Jerry to stick it. Now Micah is not going to settle for what he might have taken back in March. Jerry destroyed the relationship and Micah's good will. So now he is demanding the most money. This is 100% Senior Senility's fault. Jerry turned a good thing into an ugly situation, possibly because he just wanted publicity for himself. I can fully understand why Micah is angry or resentful.

I dont agree.

I think there's more than enough blame to go around and if the story Jones told the other night about what actually went down is true, then Parsons deserves far more of the blame.

And his antics last night were one of the worst things I've ever seen on a NFL sideline. Coaches like Jimmy or Parcells would have kicked his ass off the sideline completely and probably had him traded off the team within 24 hours.

Parsons is a cancer.

And just disappears in big games. Opponents are able to scheme him out at will, but they reserve it for games that are important so our staff never catches on. He's done absolutely nothing in the playoffs.

My solution for Baby P

Trade him to Tennessee Titans. Throw in Mazi

Tennessee has tons of cap room and believes whole heartedly they have their QB after taking the guy 1st overall. They don't have any pass rushers on the outside but have two outstanding DT's in Jeffrey Simmons and 2nd yr player T'Vondre Sweat (Texas Longhorn Drafted early 2nd last yr)

Sweat is in yr two of his rookie deal and Cowboy scouts liked him last yr. At 6'4, 360lbs and with long arms and proven run stuffing ability, he is exactly what we need in the middle next to Odiggy.

They send us their 2026 and 2027 1st rd picks, plus 3rd in 2026 and 5th in 2027, along with Sweat.

They get their elite pass rusher to play alongside all-pro caliber DT Simmons, plus Mazi can take some reps next to him. We get our 1st elite run stuffer in eons and a nice package of picks.

Dude (may I call you dude?), a rebuilding team like the Titans is not gonna fork over high draft picks (which will almost certainly be in the top 10) when they're not one player away.

They're one of the most poorly managed teams in the league. Their ownership sucks. They don't understand "rebuild." They think they're always contenders.

You might be surprised.

Dooms (may I call you Dooms?), don't get sucked into dbair's rabbit hole of unrealistic trades that greatly favor Dallas.

I’m all for trading Micah as long as it’s not to someone in our division.

The great train robbery part two works for me!

I'm already on record for just cutting the fucker.
31 other teams would love it if we did.

Cutting him doesn't help the team one bit. He's arguably got the highest trade value of any guy we have had entering his prime in eons. It doesn't help the team or it's future by putting the guy on the street and getting NOTHING in return.

Its not that different than what the Bears gave for Mack, and Parsons is younger and considered more dynamic.

So it isn't unrealistic from that standpoint.

The only reason it might be unrealistic is because we have an asswipe for a GM who doesn't really know how to maximize anyone's value.
