Mingo's injury might have an impact here. Tolbert (or Mingo) could have been a target for them.

Still might warrant watching. I think Tolbert has some value around the league and could potentially help net us a DT or at least a mid to late rd pick.

If I were the Vikings, I would not trade for Mingo. A team like the Dolphins is considered to be fairly deep at wide receiver. An old fan favorite such as Cedric Wilson Jr. could be tradable, and he has done more in his career than Mingo.

The Bengals need to do something with Hendrickson, and they could consider trading someone like Tyler Boyd to make some salary cap room.

Babe is obviously not wrong here, but Cropper does need to catch this from Milton. This was a 3rd down play too.

Yes he was late, but the ball did hit him right in the hands.

As far as I know, the Eagles have also not played any of their starters in the preseason, so maybe it will all even out.

Someone can correct me on that if I am wrong.

Hamstrings?
You are not wrong, they haven't played any starters in either game so far. (unless 1st rd pick Jihaad Campbell ends up starting)

The Rams haven't played any starters either. I suspect there's quite a few teams if we did the research.

It's a huge trigger for some people to rant about but I think every time the research has been done it doesn't show that playing starters in preseason in today's NFL equates to any further success in the regular season.

College teams play ZERO preseason games. High school teams play ZERO preseason games.

I think the knee injury probably wiped out Mingo's trade value, for now at least. Maybe if he comes back in a month- six weeks or so and shows he is healthy, somebody desperate might want him before the trade deadline. But Mingo's injury MIGHT make it less likely we'd trade Tolbert now as well. Which is too bad because I do think he has some value.

Cropper made a business decision and alligator-armed it. I don't blame him in a preseason game. I would have done the same. Plenty of other teams to try out for if I don't make the Cowboys, but there will be no teams to try out for if I'm in the trainer's room.

Milton has been late throwing a lot. His strong arm is detriment because he got away with waiting in college, so now he has bad habits. He can break those habits, but he needs to work at recognition. Start throwing with some touch and letting the receiver run to the ball. A fastball pitcher generally doesn't make it if all he has is the fastball.

The game is probably also still too fast for himl, still unsure.

The only GM dumb enough is Jerry. Mingo has shown nothing that a GM would give up anything for. I don't see what Tolbert has done that makes him any more valuable than any other WR who is about 4th on the depth chart. So far, Tolbert is just a guy.

We shall see how the Bengals do.

Tolbert was a starter last yr for us, he's still young and was universally thought of as a day two pick in 2023.

His stats last yr are pretty fair to be honest, especially considering he played with 3 different starting QBs. 49 catches, 610 yds and 7 tds is not horrible. His numbers would look even better had Prescott not missed him on two wide open long tds (one was the Atlanta game, would have been an 85 or 90 yd TD). He has decent size and speed and reasonably good hands. He definitely has value for someone, just probably not as much for us if Lamb, Pickens and Turpin all stay healthy.

If we got more than a 6th for him I'd be shocked. Only we overpay for mediocrity.
We shall see, there were two WR trades today for guys who arnt as good as Tolbert. Saints gave a 4th and another pick for a guy almost nobody had ever heard of from Denver.

KC traded a late pick and Skyy Moore to Niners for a late pick.

He definitely has some value.

As usual, Jones-tards asleep at the wheel here.

Trying to bolster one of their weakest positions, the New York Jets acquired defensive tackles Harrison Phillips and Jowon Briggs in separate trades Wednesday.

The Jets traded two seventh-round picks (2026 and 2027) to the Minnesota Vikings for Phillips and a 2027 seventh-round pick, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The trade is pending a physical.

There's been no comments on why Bland is not there today. Apparently they have not addressed it. Reporters do not believe its any type of injury situation.

Booth being 1st team is a dream come true for Hurts and Philly WR's
