i guess they were serious about having a defense w/ 3 safeties because its legit on the depth chart
Well they have 12 starters listed.

But they do play a defense with 3 safeties on the field a lot. So maybe they consider that their "base" defense now.

They rarely have lined up with 3 LB's in the traditional spots you'd see them in since Quinn took over.

They move guys all over.

Maybe he is right, have no idea because I am not there and have only seen the highlight clips.

That said, again he's literally the ONLY person I've seen say anything like that.

The About them Cowboys podcast just said the same thing about Vaughn in Pass Pro. They were talking about a rep that had it have been full speed, full contact, live action that Sam Williams would have completely destroyed Vaughn.

So no, Nate is not the only one talking about it.

oh nos!!!!!! One rep!!!!

Again they posted info on some reps where he actually surprised coaches with how well he executed it.

That said, Mr Pollard was really subpar at blitz protection for most of his time here too. It took him a few seasons to learn the right technique and his assignments.

Zeke was exceptional at it. Emmitt was exceptional at it. They arn't exactly the norms.

We'll see what happens when he is out there. It's not like teams never blitzed Kansas State and he was out on the field almost 100% of the time for them, he's not going to be on the field 100% of the time here. He's an exceptional receiver out of the backfield, if teams don't account for that he could eat them up on screens, dump offs and circle routes etc etc

It’s more then one rep, and it’s more than one person saying it

Don’t get me wrong, I’m actually rooting for the kid.

They just have to use him correctly, and pass pro ain’t it. Personal protector on kicks ain’t it.

That's fine.

He's a late round pick for a reason. He isn't a sure thing.

But his college performance and the vast majority of everything so far in camp has been very good.

I was really hoping that Hunter Luepke was going to make more of an impact during camp and be able to lock up a roster spot.

There really hasn’t been much talk about him on any of the podcasts.

I just hope he can show out during the preseason games and make it really hard for the team to cut him. I want to see what this kid can bring to the team on game day.

"Jerry Jones couldn’t wait to sign another jailbird!” – Damon Arnette indulging with Cowboys for contract talks days after pleading guilty over gun charges doesn’t sit well with fans!

I think the only thing thats really confirmed is that he might be meeting with the team. I havent seen anyone that covers the team say anything about a contract.
