NBCUniversal CEO Jeff Shell Forced Out After Sexual Harassment Claim From CNBC Reporter Hadley Gamble

Shell apologized Sunday for having had an “inappropriate relationship” with an unnamed company employee. Comcast, the parent company of NBCUniversal, and Shell announced in a joint statement that he would be stepping down immediately, following the results of an internal investigation.

“Following a complaint that Jeffrey Shell, CEO of NBCUniversal, engaged in inappropriate conduct with a female employee, including allegations of sexual harassment, Comcast Corporation (the “Company”) retained outside counsel to investigate the allegations,” the company said in the filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. “During the investigation, evidence was uncovered that corroborated the allegations. As a consequence, on April 23, 2023, the Company terminated Mr. Shell’s employment With Cause under his employment agreement, effective immediately.”

Gee what a surprise

America is asleep. I’ve never read it, but the title and a brief summary of the book ‘Entertaining Ourselves To Death’ (Neil Postman) sounds prophetic.

Nobody gives a shit about China, while they’re being distracted by cross-dressing goons and demented politicians.

Tucker Carlson leaving FOX News.

Nobody will be watching that fucking network much longer. Was the best news channel ever for a long time, now it's a completely ridiculous shithole like all the others on cable and network TV.

I stopped watching Fox News a long time ago. The only one on Fox I would watch, and it was on rare occasions, was Tucker. Now I have no reason at all to watch that network. Tucker needs to get back on the air somewhere asap for the good of the country.

I am concerned that Conservatives in the media are under attack and it is working. OANN was taken off by most providers and NewsMax has been dropped by a few as well. I think OANN was the only conservative news network to be a completely reliable ally of conservatives though. Fox has been leaning more and more left for a few years and NewsMax appears to be afraid to address certain topics.

It's been barely two days since his brutal ouster from Fox News - but Tucker Carlson looks like a man without a care in the world.

The TV firebrand shrugged off the media storm and insisted he was more interested in enjoying a romantic date with his wife Susan as he broke his silence in an exclusive chat with DailyMail.com.

'Retirement is going great so far,' chuckled Carlson, 53, as he emerged from his $5.5 million beach home in Boca Grande, Florida on Tuesday night.

If it was consensual what is the big deal? Did it effect his job? Was he taking trips on company money to see her? Did he use his position to coerce her into bed? If we are going to stick to the mantra we can't help who we love then doesn't this cover relationships in the workplace? Bill Clinton was getting BJs from an intern in his office and asking his secretary to cover it up for him. He kept his job and became a hero of the left. What are the rules?

Regulators continued their search for a solution to First Republic Bank’s woes over the weekend before stock markets were set to open Monday.

San Francisco-based First Republic has struggled since the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank in early March, as investors and depositors have grown increasingly worried that the bank may not survive as an independent entity for much longer. The bank’s stock closed at $3.51 on Friday, a fraction of the roughly $170 a share it traded for a year ago.

First Republic has been seen as the most likely next bank to collapse due to its high amount of uninsured deposits and exposure to low interest rates.

It's just fiat money... Print More... :D

The FDIC estimated its deposit insurance fund would take a $13 billion hit from taking First Republic into receivership. Its rescue of Silicon Valley Bank cost the fund a record $20 billion.

Make Crimes Against Nature Great Again !

Historically, the offense was usually referred to by its longer name:

The detestable and abominable (or abominable and detestable, or, sometimes, infamous) crime against nature, committed with mankind or beast.

We cannot talk about or conduct serious studies about homosexuality anymore. We have been instructed to accept it and leave it at that. Any curiosity about the causes of homosexuality are deemed "hate". It is not just a lack of curiosity but something more sinister. It is literally the inmates running the asylum. But we are seeing some contradictions now. Remember when we were told homosexuality was not a choice, that you were born gay? But now we see in movies and TV shows how people who have been straight their entire lives suddenly discover they are gay? Or they become gay lovers. In the TV series Vikings, for example, Lagertha winds up bedding Astrid after living her life as a straight woman attracted to a number of different men. The message is everyone is gay and all it takes is meeting the right person. This is nonsense, and propaganda.

I think people would live and let live if not for being told that their own revulsion at the thought of two men or two women in bed together is hateful. It is actually instinctual. It is a necessary defense for the survival of the species.
