Lance is looking like one of the all time worst draft picks and draft decisions ever. The Niners made a MEGA deal to trade up and get him (when supposedly their HC preferred Mac Jones all along), they traded away 3 first and a 3rd to move up for a guy who probably would have fell in their laps anyway.
Of course much of that trade has been evened out by what the league office has done since, awarding the Niners massive number of "special compensatory picks, including 3 extra 3rd rd picks this yr). They also stripped the Dolphins of the 2023 1st rd pick they acquired from the Niners as part of that Lance trade for "tampering" with Brady and Payton.
