Adam_Schefter Two of us disagree RT @RobRang: Disagree strongly but growing consensus that Alabama RB Mark Ingram is going to slip right out of 1st round

Even though RB isnt a need, if he were there when we pick at 40 (which I dont expect to happen) I'd have to strongly consider taking him. An Ingram/Jones pairing could be pretty special. Both guys are also used to a split RB set-up as well. Barber would be gone and once a CBA were done, I'd look to trade Choice.

Almost everyone sees the similarities between Ingram and Emmitt, if he were even 2/3 as good as Emmitt he'd be well worth the pick.

I just can't see him falling out of the first. At the very worst, Green Bay would take him at 32.

I think GB is in good shape at RB, especially with the one kid returning from injury.

I would think New England would take him with either their 2nd first rd pick or that 1st pick in round 2.

Green Bay really has no holes. Grant is coming off injury, and I thought I read where Jackson might be a free agent (?) although I could be wrong.

I know they were trying to trade for Lynch, but didn't pull the trigger. If memory serves, Seattle got him for relative peanuts.

I think if Ingram fell there, it'd be a close match to BPA + need.

New England is another possibility, but I think they need to address their lines and get another receiver first.

I agree, but I don't think he goes past the Dolphins. If he does then, yes Green Bay would grab him at 32.

He's not going to fall out of the first but just say he does . . . We better take him in a heartbeat. He would be BPA by far. Then trade Choice for a pick. Cut Barber.

Definitely take the talent.

This is why I think any well run team should have no idea who they are gonna draft.
